Coulda been Hart or Jackson too. Barnes just made himself the choice. If there's one thing you can complain about CC, its that he likes to stick with the guys he knows over the options he doesn't know yet. Even if the known options are known to suck.

Interesting indeed, which obviously means someone else was likely going to be optioned for tomorrow’s game. I was thinking more on the lines of... we bring back Peralta and Burnes for the same game? Do we piggy-back the kids?

Hart, so far so good.

Per telecast. Burnes was in the works to be called up tomorrow (interesting). He just arrived, was not in uniform. They got approval from MLB to make the swap with IL and activation.

2 short stints... 50 ptc 80 ptc 7.2 IP and the 2nd one got a little BB heavy. I don't think he allowed more than 1 run.

Maybe maybe not. We had 2 from Claudio .1 from Jackson and 1.1 from Hart Monday. Had a big lift from Guerra 2.1 yesterday. Hader will not pitch if we don't get a lead. Jackson Hart Albers Jeffress Burnes can all go. If we have Claudio and Hader for tomorrow we can survive it and Barnes for Williams makes a ton of sense.

So Hart up in the pen. Are we trying to get through 3 IP so we can pinch hit the 9 spot before turning it to Corbin? Only way we win this one is if we make every batter count.

He probably didn't have enough time to get warm properly if they drove to MKE and only had a couple of hours.

Would make you think that Chase gets tomorrow, Freddy gets Thursday. Everyone gets treated like theirs an off day in the schedule. I'd guess its Chase headed back to the pen. It's the cleanest swap. -
