C'mon man... Yelich has had 2 season's to "get going", and has yet to do so. The guy has 8 homers this season, let that sink in... He won't "get going" if he is sitting, and he hasn't "got going" with all the playing time in the world. Dude is a shell of his former self, and if he hasn't flipped the switch yet after two seasons, now is not the time to think he will. His bat is no longer a threat, at least not this year. The competition no longer see him as 2018-2019 Yelich, he is just a guy, and has done nothing the past two seasons to prove otherwise. Sometimes CC's tunnel vision is ridiculous. Yelich needs to get it going. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with continuing to play him every day and bat him 3rd. I think I'd mix it up, and give him more days off. But I don't think it's going to happen. That's not Counsell's MO. And despite his tunnel vision, the guy has certainly earned the benefit of the doubt in my mind.
