  1. Russian Roulette with anyone at this point. Knebel has to be a better choice Knebel and his nearly 9 ERA? I want Knebel to be the Knebel of old, but I just don't know if that is gonna happen this season. For a lot of guys, they don't get back to being effective until the 2nd year back from TJ.

  4. Close ... Greg Vaughan. Vaughn was actually drafted by the Brewers. Sheff trade was Ricky Bones, Matt Mieske & Jose Valentin. No, Newfield was the top guy who came back from the Padres for Vaughan.
  5. Oh Orlando ... surprised he didn't come out of his shoes on that swing
  6. Remember Marc Newfield and Lyle Mouton? They were the guys you wanted getting off the bus first, but were glorified singles hitters. Wasn't Newfield the top guy we got for Sheffield Close ... Greg Vaughan.

  8. Rasmussen is filthy. He's going to be fun to follow in the future.
  9. He was an All-American starting pitcher in college. Of course, that was two Tommy John surgeries ago. I’m aware of his prior accomplishments, but like you mentioned just wasn’t sure if they viewed him as a multi-inning guy since the injuries. Last year in the minors they regularly started him for 3 inning appearances, so yeah, I think this is probably in his wheelhouse. Unfortunately he's probably on the shelf till Friday now, though.

  11. The bottom of the order has outperformed the top of the order for much of the season thus far. I guess the entire order besides Gyorko has been pretty bad You guess? LOL That idea has been your mantra for weeks.
  12. Right!?! It is ludicrous to try to "grade" that trade right now. My words on it were literally that I wasn't saying we lost the trade and we need to wait and see on Urias but that the 2020 Brewers are probably a playoff lock with Davies and Grisham. Which is probably true. My comment wasn't directed at you. I see where you are coming from. But at the same time, Grisham's and Davies stats aren't in a vacuum, either. No guarantee they'd be doing what they are doing if they were still Brewers.
  13. Vogelbach is having a nice little audition to be at least a platoon bat for this team in 2021.

  15. So, turn to the rookie with 9 whole innings to his name. He's throwing Roman Candles in the bonfire now.
