  1. HUGE WIN! Nico Hoerner is gonna drive the Brewers nuts for the next decade. Five years with the Cubs, and then next five after he inevitably signs with the Cardinals.
  2. I don't get it. Lindblom looks terrific in the 5th, then comes out for the 6th and can't find the zone. Frustrating.
  3. LOL ... I truly think watching Urias is making Arcia a better ballplayer. The shine will wear off at some point, but for the first time in his career, Arcia finally has someone on his heels.
  4. Both catchers have been impressive throwing this season so far. Of course, Manny ranks quite a bit ahead of Narvaez in his other defensive skills.
  5. Easy to understand Smoak. He profiles as a similar hitter to Thames, but at a cheaper price. Lindblom was a cheap flyer to try to copy what the Cardinals have done with success. Sogard? No idea.
  6. He was the Rangers closer for a good portion of the 2017 season. It's one of the factors that was attractive to Stearns.
  7. That's not gonna happen. They need to get Narvaez going, and that's not gonna happen on the bench. He's a much, much better offensive player than he's shown.
  8. Well, Counsell may have gotten a little too cute there, and it cost him. Pretty obvious Knebel ain't Himself yet.
  9. Right! Someone mentioned a few days ago that they don't want Urias to be another Arica. Really when you watch them, though, the only similarity is the fact that they both play SS. Urias is so much more fundamentally sound up there compared to Arica. It's obviously been a very small sample, but Urias is making a really nice impression. He's one of the few in this lineup who seem to have a discerning eye at the plate.
  10. Completely hypothetical, but if Suter doesn't get hurt in August 2018, do the Brewers beat the Dodgers? I'm being serious. Dude is a really good pitcher.
