Good for you that you can maintain a positive outlook, and I don't mean that sarcastically. I just see too many holes. They just don't have the skill players on offense to be able to beat top defenses like the 49ers and Saints. They have probably the worst special teams unit I've ever seen as a Packer fan. All of that could perhaps be overcome if they had an elite defense, but they don't have one, not even close. I see probably a 6-4 quality team that has won almost all close games against almost all average opponents. They'll almost certainly be a playoff team, but I'm not expecting much. I can't buy into the 2010 comparisons. That team certainly was written off too as you said, but that team was in every single game it played all season long. They never had a game where they looked like they didn't belong. Then I suggest perhaps enjoying this season for what it is. A team with a good record coming off two bad years, all with a rookie coach. Yeah the great record makes it tough to temper expectations, but it might be the best way to enjoy this team.
