And that's so wrong. He was terrible. Especially terrible when your starter goes six innings with no earned runs. Unfortunate that the offense couldn't get in gear earlier.

Can't blame Jeffress when Cain muffed the play. Cain cleanly handles it, it's game over, Crew wins 4-3. Sure Jeffress gets blame. You can't walk the leadoff guy up two runs.

Two blown saves in a row ... from two guys in Hader and Jeffress, that should be able to be trusted. I don't know who they can theoretically acquire for this pen, but if they don't do something soon, it won't matter. Yes, I know what some of you are going to say. Right now it still matters.

He's hitting great at AAA. He'll get another shot. Someone will get hurt or go into a slump at some point. Heck of an insurance policy to have if he's right.

They are tattooing a good reliever in Sam Dyson right now. This is terrific to see. This is the type of offense this team should be putting up much more consistently.

I actually would call Aguilar hot. At some point this was coming. He’s a pretty good hitter It does make perfect sense this year that both Aguilar and Thames would be hitting well at the same time. I guess it isn't a bad thing, but it would be nice to ride a hot hand instead of the straight platoon.
