  1. Feldco sells both. Buy one Pizza Ranch, get one Sol Until they had to fight that monopoly lawsuit brought by Gruber Lawffices.
  2. I doubt it. Jeffress is no slouch, and Knebel has been terrific the last couple weeks. Good options available. Yes, but did you just watch the previous 2 innings. Man vs boys out there Oh, I get it. Tough decision. Glad I'm not the manager.

  4. Let him hit and pitch the 9th.... Not remotely blue.... If he's gonna be out till Friday anyway ...
  5. Oh man Arcia. Pretty filthy stuff from Cichek there. At least Hader gets another frame.
  6. I should have included Hader in the "young power pitcher" list LOL. Easy 97 tonight.
  7. Yep, once you are announced, you are considered "used". Bote technically pinch hit for Schwarber.
  8. I love the young power arms in Burnes, Woodruff and Houser. Zach Brown and Trey Supak are no slouches in the power arm department, either. Peralta says hello. When Freddy hits 97, he will get included in the power arm discussion. That's not who he is, though. And that isn't a bad thing. His arsenal is more based on movement and deception. I think I saw him consistently at 93-94, with a few 95s maybe mixed in. Not bad at all, but Burnes is hitting 97, and Houser and Woody get close to triple digits. It doesn't seem like it would be much of a difference, but it is.

  10. No, Kratz hit a double down the 1B line. Then they pulled Lester due to injury. He didn't look right at all.
  11. I'm happy Counsell stuck with Miley there. Showing faith in his starter instead of giving him the quick hook. Sometimes you gotta let your pitcher wiggle off the hook.
  12. He hit a grand slam yesterday off Madison Bumgarner to win the game. He would have had another grand slam in the 1st inning today if the wind wasn't blowing in. He has 11 RBIs in his last 4+ games. Do we have to continue to discuss how awful he is every single time he does not reach base safely? All of the +1s!
  13. I'm basically on the anti-Saints bandwagon because of owning their first. Seeing them lose to a supposed-to-be-bad Bucs team today while playing zero defense makes me very happy. Considering the Saints were in the top 3-5 of a lot of Power Rankings this preseason, that might be the surprise of week 1 so far. I am right there with you on the anti-Saints bandwagon. That defense looked "worst-in-the-league" level against Tampa and Fitzmagic. The Saints offense is going to be good with a healthy Brees, but they are one 39-year-old QB injury away from the Teddy Bridgewater Dink-and-Dunk era. If Bridgewater has to play meaningful games, they'd be lucky to be .500.
  14. Pretty nice weekend to be a Wisconsin sports fan.
  15. He tweaked his knee for sure. Wouldn't be surprised if he had a slight ligament tear. It's going to be sore. The Packers' medical staff is notoriously careful and cautious with injuries, though. There is no way they would have let Rodgers back on the field if the knee wasn't viable.
  16. Yeah, started as a fan after Super Bowl XX, but really didn't become a die-hard fan until after the Charles Martin incident. The difference was Rodgers, obviously. If Kizer plays the second half, the Packers likely lose 35-3. The QB makes all the difference. Trubisky has the talent. Will be interesting to watch his maturation.
  17. The Bears are going to get better as the season goes along. That is a playoff-caliber team. Great talent on both sides of the ball.
  18. Aaron Rodgers Eat Crow Thread Yeah, that one didn't age well. At all.
