    Winning. Peralta's value along with Ray's may never be higher. I sold a Peralta rookie card for a 500% profit based on 1 start. Now may be the time to make a big deal using a package like this. we haven't been to the WS in 36 years. That's pathetic. This might be a chance. NL is wide open.

    I guess you don't watch too many Brian Dozier AB's because i've seen plenty over here. He is precisely what Stearns and the rest of us are trying to stay away from (and what everybody whines about Santana for). Big power, lots of K, prolonged slumps at the plate. Yes sign me up, his K rate was 20% last year. The guy is a second half player and I will take his .359 OBP and he gets Villar/Sogard and Perez out of the lineup.

    This is a slam dunk no brainer for me. Win the World Series. We’ve never won one as the Brewers. After I witnessed the Packers win in 96 in person I felt anything else in the future for the Pack would be gravy. Bucks and Marquette need one also, although I watched the 77 game.

    Since Holland declined a QO, it will also cost a draft pick (IIRC the Brewer 4th round pick) and the related signing pool money. I do not think a 1 yr deal makes much sense considering the other things that have to be given up (besides salary). If it could be a 2 yr deal at $15M total, I would be more inclined to sign him.. Ouch, didn't know he stupidly turned down a QO. More bad advice from the agent world. Not surprised.
