    Apparently he is available, maybe he's the guy we can get reasonbale to play SS for at least a couple of years, it doesn't appear the Jays are looking to break the bank on this guy. FOXSports.com reports sources said the Blue Jays could be willing to trade shortstop Yunel Escobar because they believe Triple-A shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria is ready for the majors.

    The Phillies are still trying to sign Hamels to a long-term deal, but Heyman talked to an official who gave that scenario a 30 percent chance of playing out. Heyman said the Brewers have a better chance of signing Greinke to a long-term deal.

    Brewers would not look good if they traded ARAM, it would cause FA's in the future to think twice or even eliminate us or force us to use no trade clauses. I don't think I can recall when a player has signed a multi-year FA contract, changed teams and then was traded mid-year the 1st year.

    Greinke will end up starting 3 games in a row. Pretty cool. 1st time since 1917 I believe.

    If The Orioles don't include one of the top 2 Melvin should pass. Don't underestimate Angelos, he's a terrible owner and just may be desperate enough to pull the trigger on something crazy. Machado is not lighting things up at AA, he's only 19 though. Bundy is still at Class A I think.

    The Orioles would have to pay handsomely in this kind of deal. They have two top prospects in starting pitcher Dylan Bundy and shortstop Manny Machado. Would the team want to part with those two to bring in Greinke? It's certainly possible, though highly unlikely. Bundy has been great in limited exposure in the minors and Machado has definitely shown his talent despite a mediocre stint at Double-A so far this season.     Bundy or Machado (or both) have to comeback for Greinke. The Orioles are starved for the playoffs, they can have KRod as well. Of if they want Marcum and Greinke either way 1 or both of thosetop guys have to comeback our way, no B or B+ prospect for Greinke.

    I have some tickets for 7/14, 7/16 & 7/17 all loge infield box seats between the dugouts. Face is $40 for these games (except 7/14 is a gold game so those would be $45 at the gate). Asking $35 per seat, groups of 2 or 4 available. call or text Mike at 2623120879

    Maybe the Angels will get involved which will cause Nolan Ryan to panic I just can't trade Greinke for prospects I'm not sure about. If Profar is so great why don't the Rangers trade us Andrus?

    The Brewers should definitely be exploring an extension with Hart, he likes it here and he can play 1B, which should prolong his career. He's been pretty darn good over there (6"6 sure helps)

    You hit the nail on the head, but you absolutely CANNOT give up any pitching that you think will contributs at the major league level. That complicates things, we have to look for the Nyjer Moragn for Cutter Dykstra type of a trade.

    Get TROUT if your thinking long term, that trade maybe doesn't help you a bunch this year because Hamilton is a monster but the age difference is too much to pass up. Do the deal.
