  1. If you trade Greinke you absolutely have to get a package or a top prospect you think is close to can't niss (maybe a Profar) no guessing if they trade him. If you have to guess you might as well take the draft picks, bad situation almost anyway you slice it.
  2. I think this is a gold game. I have 4 seats in SECT 215 row 20. Asking below face of $30 each. call or text Mike at 2623120879
  3. PM your price, or I would do 2 whites for 1 blue, I have (2) Charlie Moore whites Thanks Mike
  4. I'm not sold on Peralta I would put him in a deal for Castro as long as we didn't have to give any of the other top pitching prospects.
  5. If Greinke is shopped Melvin better offer him to ALL contenders and drive up the bidding, The Brewer really need to get a future leaguer back. Where was Melvin on Daniel Hudson and Gio Gonzalez or Trevor Cahill for that matter, UGH
  6. Did I see someone say Lawrie is going to be better than braun LOL (that was worth a chuckle).
  7. Crew, I think you have to be able to determine when to "go for it" and when not to. By trading for Greinke and Marcum that basically got us within 2 games of the World Series (miracle by St. Louis to even be in the playoffs). I don't see how as a GM you can look back at that and say I'm going to pass on those deals. While I agree having a great farm system is key, prospects are also very unreliable, who's to say those players in the Greinke deal will ever amount to much. The Sabathia deal was a home run (Brantley & LaPorta). While I reading your diatribe I thought here's a guy stuck in the small market mentality (like many on the board). If competitive, the Brewers can carry a $100 million payroll. If they put a bad product and don't spend then you'll see attandance moving back towards 2 million. The one I would love to have back is the Marcum deal, we would have Lawrie at 3B and we wouldn't have the Ramirez situation (im hopeful he will get hot like he seems to do). One could argue without Marcum we don't make the playoffs, so thats life of a GM you have to look at alot of things and make alot of judgements but to just approach things one way would really be shortsighted and not serving your team the way it should be served. With that all being said I'm glad you're not our GM
  8. What does it hurt to let Thornberg start a game or two, show the fans the future, we have NOTHING going this year. If Estrada is a 15 day thing TT gets sent back down.
  9. Commanding is one thing and with 2 strikes against you in the drug game not sure a team will be willing to go that far. Hamilton maybe willing to do a 5 or 6 year deal, maybe just maybe teams are learning not give 30 somethings 8-10 year deals, see the Angels
  10. LuCroy just signed a 5 year deal and Weeks signed a 4 year deal, might have an option included. The Brew needs a SS and I would take a HUGE run at Hamilton and dump Hart.
  11. I have 4 seats for Saturdays game in SECT 227 row 3 & 4 (seats are back to back). Asking under marquee face, $50 each. Call Mike or text me at 2623120879
  12. I have seats available in SECT 231 Row 11 for the Friday game. Marquee face is $45, asking $30 each, I have 2 seats left. Call me or text Mike at 2623120879
  13. That's the bright side????? I know fans like to spend the owners money, I can't believe the owner is passing on this deal, unless Greinke is asking for Cain money and if he is we're in BIG trouble. If Melvin could have signed this guy within the last year for Verlander money I'm going to be sick to my stomach!!! This stinks!!!
  14. Roenicke is the best manager we've had in 20 years and most importantly he has the pulse of the players and they like him, he can help attract players (Ramirez) and help sign players. That's HUGE!! GO BREW
  15. Considering what we gave up I think Greinke is a must sign, Fielder didn't cost anything but money, Greinke cost us 4 players, now Cain seems to be emerging. Also, factor in Lawrie for Marcum, we'll end up MAYBE getting draft picks, I'm thinking we won't with the new system. Get it done guys!!!
  16. Looking for 2 today.
  17. If you have a 4G device try accessing 4G, also turn on your Wi-Fi, this should help you. More enhancements coming for Sprint, it will take some time though.
  18. I think the Brewers are the best team in the National League. Phillies have lost Oswalt, Utley is hurt and Howard is coming off a major injury, if you have concerns about the Brewers offense take a look at the Phillies Reds- Lost Madson, Huge loss in the bullpen Cards- Lost Pujols, LaRussa, Duncan and Carpenter is hurting Braves- Not alot of offense unless Heyward re-emerges Miami- Not sure what you have here SF- Great pitching and bullpen, atrocious offense GO BREW, they win 94 games and get to the World Series this year. Melvin pulls a deal at the deadline to help us get to the WS, can't predict WS winner
  19. Even for the playoffs your lucky if your in line for 10-15 minutes tops. Just get to a gate a little sooner before game time and you'll be fine.
  20. All these examples lead me to one conclusion. The Brewers MUST hit on some more young players that are cheap. They almost are committed to Gamel because he's dirt cheap (big advantage not paying a 1b big money if he produces).
  21. Not to poo poo this but I swear Tim Allen said on the radio Friday or yesterday he didn't expect us to get a deal done w/ Greinke, which kind of took me by surprise. The potential of losing Greinke, Marcum and not picking up Wolf's option would put us right back where we were before last season. Not a good premise. 5 years $80 million good enough?
  22. Carpenter hurt for the Cards and Madson goes down for the year. Things are starting off rather nicely for us. Maybe we can have some health this year. Winning 96 games with all of the injuries last year was a pretty amazing accomplishment.
  23. I will have 1 maybe 2, how do you guys want to get them?
