  1. As far as Freddy getting suspended I think it's pretty automatic when a player gets tossed for intentionally hitting a batter with a pitch. 5 games is pretty much the minimum to guarantee a starting pitcher misses at least one start. I doubt it gets reduced. Relievers usually get less, maybe 3 to 4 games. Depending on severity of course. Throwing punches feels like it deserves more. I was initially upset that Siri only got 3 games when Uribe got 6 but it's probably fair for a position player.
  2. He did have some good swing and miss with those punches too.
  3. Yeah, this is what tipped me over to believing that Freddy hit him with purpose. Contreras gave a classic fastball inside sign and then some other motion, looks like a fist. Levering even remarked on it saying, "Going the old traditional signs." Video here. Why is the catcher giving an old school sign? That's not the norm anymore. I doubt there's a button on the communication device that says, "Taladra a esta perra." Anyway, I agree with the other poster that said even if it was intentional it seemed pretty mild as far as throwing at guys goes. It wasn't obvious in the moment, maybe there was some chirping on the field after the Siri home run earlier that tipped the ump off to something but the umpire jumping directly to tossing Freddy out wasn't really something I think most viewers would expect. Seems to me giving a warning would have been enough.
  4. I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the umpire stuff the last few days.
  5. If you had Tyler Black making his first appearance as a Brewer as a pinch runner/DH due to injury then you win the lottery.
  6. May he Rest in Poster Peace. 🙏
  7. Profile > Account Settings > Security and Privacy there's a button to request your account be deleted. I'm guessing that's what he meant. "Request Account Deletion" doesn't exactly imply that it's automated though. Sounds to me like it's a request.
  8. Packers fans really need to not react to Lions picks at next year's draft, show them they just don't matter to us. Oh, and absolutely boo the bejezus out of the Bears and Vikings when they pick.
  9. I've been thinking he's getting close to being sent down. At some point "figuring it out" at the MLB level turns into crushing lack of confidence. The strikeouts and non-competitive at bats are stacking up. I think a reset could be a good thing for him.
  10. Wow Middleton.
  11. If the Bucks lose its my fault I just turned on the game for the first time.
  12. Maybe he would have been their pick but they also seemed prepared to move down so at most they were willing to gamble.
  13. Got your guy!
  14. To spend on trading up later.
  15. If they're being that passive then they were ok not getting him.
  16. Lol Eagles thought they were being slick.
  17. Yep, they traded down.
  18. Trade down? That return Carolina just got was nice. Someone has to be willing to pay it though. Lots of good options still on the board.
  19. I honestly feel like Dillard has improved, I actually had to think when the last time I really heard him forcing a joke and couldn't really recall much. And his actual analysis is fine when he's being serious which again feels like most of the time. I'm content with the guys we have, I know that not everybody is going to like everyone so it's very subjective.
  20. Morgan is a very Gutekunst pick. Naturally draft grades by the national "experts" are in the B-/C range. No matter how many times Gute does his own thing and gets praise later people on the outside don't really give much benefit of the doubt to him in the moment. I was a bit deflated as the Packers finally were on the clock because all of the guys that had unexpectedly stuck around had been taken off the board in the few picks prior to the 25 coming up. I really wanted Mitchell or Arnold. After Mitchell got picked I truly wondered if the Packers would even go with Arnold and when the Lions jumped them I thought even with the Lions taking him I doubt Gute would have if they hadn't. My feelings about them passing on DeJean came true as well. All said and done, going into the draft and expecting those guys to be long gone anyway I was thinking the Packers would go OL so in the end what I was expecting to happen did happen. I didn't have specific guys in mind I just felt there were going to be a lot of quality options there and they wouldn't pass them up. Excited to see how tonight unfolds.
  21. Nah I mean I predicted they wouldn't take DeJean if he was there.
  22. Called it (sort of).
  23. When the Packers don't take a CB here I'm going to laugh.
  24. Lol Lions, like we care who you take. (Silently caring a bit too much)
