  1. Rodgers was angry with the Packers, it shouldn't surprise anybody that he didn't do the team any favors in contract negotiations after they drafted Love. This is all pretty irrelevant at this point.
  2. Playing service time manipulation games in late July in a close division race feels like the height of idiocy. If he's valuable keep him where he is.
  3. I think 8 or 9 wins would be an extremely successful season. 5 to 7 wins is more likely. I just don't want to see an injury to Love, especially early on. It's imperative that he can show who he is as a starter for a whole season. My greatest fear is he plays a short time with ups and downs but then gets hurt and the Packers get stuck in decision purgatory.
  4. Live look at Aaron Rodgers
  5. Hatred and intolerance of people that are seen as "other" than yourself isn't a political view. Trying to categorize it as political in an attempt to deflect criticism is nearly just as bad.
  6. The Brewers seem to have a draft strategy of selecting position players that play premium positions up the middle. SS, 2B, CF. It makes sense, those type of guys can generally be moved to positions of need later or traded for a good return. However, I do miss the days of having that bopper at a corner spot, I'm sure it's mostly because those type of big bodied guys are few and far between quality wise and the really good ones go early.
  7. Which is weird because he's the best player on the team.
  8. Wow. That's one heck of an accomplishment for a guy that was born March 29, 1790. A grandson still living 233 years after the date of his birth. That would be like if I had a kid, that had a kid that was still living in 2205.
  9. How does Al Pacino go around with a newborn baby and not begin with, "Say hello to my little friend!"
  10. Yeah, I'd go with the concentrate option, as long as it tastes good. Pricing is about convenience as much as anything else. Customers can know they could buy their own for better value but that doesn't get them the instant gratification. You can always change it up if that's not working. I order off food delivery apps enough to know that people will pay. There are restaurants that sell little 8oz. bottles of Simply Orange OJ for like $3.25 each. You can buy a 52 oz. bottle at the grocery store for just a bit more than that.
  11. Bally Sports+ is $20/month The Choice package on Directv Stream includes it for $90/month. Fubo has it starting at $75/month.
  12. I'm optimistic on Love but man the odds are still more against him working out than in favor of him. I'm more than ok ignoring record this season I'm just looking for signs of progress and development. If they win 10 games, fantastic. Do I expect it? Hell no. Every single receiver on our roster is greener than the grass in June. They had the same running backs to shorten the field last year. Defenses are going to make Love beat them with his arm until he proves he can. I think folks need to be prepared for a losing season no matter how weak the schedule appears. Nobody is scared of playing against the Packers, that's for sure.
  13. I don't hate Doc Rivers but his teams haven't been able to beat the Celtics so I really don't think he helps us much. Ime Udoka would have been my dream hire but he was off the board before the Bucks flunked out of the first round and landed in the coaching search pool. None of these other guys are going to excite me the way that guy would have.
  14. Counsell steps away from baseball, Brewers hire Mike Schildt as manager and troll the Cardinals for the next decade. Ok, I think I threw up in my mouth a little...
  15. Keep hitting them hard and they're bound to find some holes eventually.
  16. Or just do it in the settings in the Apple TV+ app.
  17. Kawhi, as much as I'd love to have him at 100%, I just don't trust his commitment to playing. He feels a lot like an anti-Giannis. Plus he's one of those guys that will demand a trade at the first sign of things not going his way. Ultimately I don't want to roll those dice. Maybe I'm wrong, it's just the impression I have of him as an outsider without much knowledge of him.
  18. Looks like things are working again around here? Maybe the Brewers get things working again too. And who's this Houser guy? Getting some arms OFF the IL is really nice as well!
