  1. Walk the pitcher who has 14 career plate appearances over 6 years...ugh
  2. I swear we are going to put a stretch together where both the pitching and the hitting come together...its bound to happen, right? right?
  3. Well their big boy lineup better come to play today
  4. Typical Peralta first inning. 25+ pitches and a couple runs given up.
  5. maybe Schoop will go off tonight...he has been watching Gausman pitch for the past few years so I am sure he is familiar with his stuff.
  6. First walk for Albies in over a month... Also, it says he is 5'8" but he can't be more than 5'6" his bat looks as big as him
  7. Cain's contract could turn into another Braun. Giving a five year $80 mil contract to a 32 year old is risky. I hope he's got some Torii Hunter like genes where he can play til 40 and still be productive
  8. A nice quick inning from Gausman. I cringe thinking about how many pitches Peralta is going to throw in the first. His average has to be in the mid to high 20s.
  9. I just keep expecting him to drop a Pizza Ranch promo
  10. Even though he is producing, Cain hasn't hit a HR since June 13th. Crazy for such a talented hitter.
  11. Yeah its impressive. 9 top 100 prospects and a very talented and young lineup. Reminds me of the 2015 Cubs.
  12. If the Brewers can go 24-19 over their final 43 games, that puts them at 90 wins, which I think should be enough to clinch a wild card spot.
  13. Brewers were 57-2 when leading after 8 innings before today.
  14. Counsell just said they aren't putting him back in the 9th...said they are going to give him some easier spots.
  15. Yelich 0 for his last 7...he better be careful or people will start giving him the Schoop treatment
  16. Does anyone else hold their breath every time there is a fly ball to Thames?
  17. The posters here that seem to be taking pleasure in Schoop's poor play to prove themselves right are beginning to get a little bothersome. I agree 100%. People need to give it a rest its getting extremely annoying.
  18. What Jonathan Villar have you been watching? Villar has 83 Ks in 278 ABs and Schoop has 85 Ks in 374 ABs.
  19. It's been explained numerous times. The Brewers were done with Villar after he couldn't replicate his 2016 season. Schoop represents a huge upgrade. Yes, he is a free swinger and has had a down year, but his ceiling is much higher than that of Villar or Perez. Stearns values depth more than anything and a mix of Moustakas/Shaw/Arcia/Schoop is light years ahead of a Shaw/Arcia/Perez/Villar/Saladino mix. This team needs offense, and Schoop is the type of player than can carry a team when he gets hot. Give the guy a break. This is getting really old.
  20. I think Nottingham will also get brought up
