  1. If I got offered Metcalf for Adams straight up, I’d think about it for a minute. Then remember that Adams is now on the Jordy Nelson wavelength with Rodgers, and I’d hang up.
  2. I know it’s still the Bears, but that’s a good, good win. Time to get this thing rolling a bit after a tough month.
  3. I think you can argue that the WR room is rounding into form. I was really keen to see a solid overall performance against a really good defense (we can quibble if the bears hearts were in this one tonight, but one could also argue we stomped them hard enough early to take the fight out of them). But MVS is still well under 50% receiving on his overall targets, so he still needs to keep stacking successes. Lazard is bringing that possession receiver energy, and EQ is even coming on, so that’s all good. This offense needs it, for sure. But Jones has been awfully quiet for the last month—he’s just as important, I’d say.
  4. What is the point of dropping eight into coverage if you still allow easy chunk passes downfield? Attn: Mike Pettine
  5. Simultaneous possession situation going on in Indianapolis. I’m going to have the nightmares coming back tonight, thanks Rivers. Some wounds never heal.
  6. wut I think bc he’s off sides all the time?
  7. That feels about right. The good thing about football is that you can get a whole week to not think about the game. I’m going to need every second on this one.
  8. Yep. I think there was actually 42 seconds left. Rodgers is a veteran, he's not a young QB who is going to make a poor decision when rushed. There was time to avoid wasting the down. I’m always an advocate of the good old fake spike play.
  9. Wow! How’d they thread that needle?
  10. No way we’re this lucky
  11. Alexander gives up the first. I could puke.
  12. Well, Indy has tried their absolute darndest to let us back in it. And by golly, Pettine is just too polite to let them do it.
  13. Why we don’t ever use qb sneak is absolutely beyond me. Unless rodgers doesn’t like doing it bc of the injury risk, idk.
  14. Egregious face mask—no call. Nice.
  15. The defense hasn’t been great, but if this ends in a loss, it is on the offense and special teams. It’s practically heroic that the defense has forced field goals considering how long they’ve been on the field.
  16. Shepherd is killing us. Brutal
  17. I’m trying to remind myself that I all but chalked this up as a loss this week, but being up 14 points after scoring 28 in the first half does tend to change one’s expectations a bit.
  18. That’s about as bad a quarter that you can have that doesn’t involve a turnover or a special teams score against. Gross.
  19. If the offense wants to be championship caliber, this is one of those moments. Gotta have a TD drive and keep these guys at arm's length.
  20. This just in: our LBs still struggle in coverage.
  21. Can you imagine if we wouldn’t have turned it over twice?
  22. I’m sure we’ve been fruitlessly pounding the rock inside all season just to set up these spread looks
  23. Nice drive. EQ sighting and Jones trucked a safety for a TD? I’ll take more of that, please.
  24. Did a pro kicker just short a 50-yarder?
