  1. Yeah, that is interesting. In light of the overall cautiousness of the organization in these matters (though there have been exceptions) and in light of the whole Deshaun Watson thing, I highly doubt he gets much of a look. But if the brass gets desperate (and they should be close to desperation) and they have closer access to what the NFL knows about McManus’ situation than the public does, who knows? It seems pretty icky though.
  2. They held. Exciting times tomorrow. Let the pitchers burn!
  3. Playing as close as they did in a game where they were absolute cheeks for an entire half is kind of encouraging. These teams are not the version of themselves that will exist in December. Get healthy, get a kicker, and Jordan needs to clean up the decision making. No panic yet.
  4. My kingdom for a field goal kicker…
  5. Thank you, Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay. The odds of having to play in San Francisco in January just ticked down a smidge, and I’m ok with that.
  6. The only problem is, a three game losing streak is kind of a death sentence in the playoffs, so I guess we better win the first three of every series, just to be sure…
  7. Unbelievable come from behind win! The bats are back, baby!
  8. So huge to grind out two wins with Love hurt. Looks like we might have our hands full next week, but we’re sitting pretty right now. Heck of a job by the staff, especially MLF’s game planning, and Malik, you made yourself some money the last two weeks, my friend.
  9. Man Narvy needed that one
  10. The Titans’ o-line is as-advertised. Love to see it.
  11. Hate that drop by Kraft. C’mon man. Tight ends not having a banner day.
  12. This would be a heck of a time to have the first four-game losing streak of the year.
  13. This defense gets to the ball. They may be a roller coaster, but they make plays on the ball.
  14. The chunk plays are becoming infuriating.
  15. Levis is going to give us another ball to intercept. Hang on to that, and we’ll talk dagger time.
  16. What would Musgrave say he does here? Thank goodness for Wilson.
  17. We’re going to need a new kicker…
  18. Yeah, Quay! Let’s go!
  19. Wyatt seems to be really taking a step forward in the new system. Good to see.
  20. I’ve seen this thrown out as a possibility in a few places on the interwebs, and my gut reaction was to disregard it—why pay Love the most money in football and willingly keep him on the sidelines for any length of time? But maybe, just maybe, Willis gives you some juice as a wildcat/option type that a series or two for him might have some worth. I’m still a little skeptical.
  21. But the gamble on Willis? That’s looking like a huge payout.
  22. Yeah, there just aren’t any better options on the roster right now. That gamble isn’t working out so far.
  23. Too bad we didn't work out 1st round LT at tackle all spring and summer…
  24. Man, September in the NFL is a lot of noise. Nobody knows who anybody is yet. Health and not being completely buried at 0-3 or 0-4 is the only thing that matters.
  25. The defensive front can stop self-destructing anytime now, thanks.
