  1. Well that sequence wasn’t on Love. They had solid plays and Love put it there, receivers all let him down. Can’t get out of our own way.
  2. The Vikings deserved to miss that kick for their cowardice. On the other hand, if I’m any opponent of Green Bay’s, I have to figure I just need 17 points, so why not kick?
  3. I’m done with Myers. Cut him and put Tom in there. I’m sick of watching his garbage.
  4. Ha, beat me to it, it seems
  5. Just checking in on the water cooler here after a few days away…
  6. Start selling any vets that have value, and let’s see how high we can draft.
  7. That throw was as predictable as it was unnecessary
  8. Aaaaaaand Watson is done for the year.
  9. How do you figure that was a bad throw? Doubs had both hands on it with his body squared up to it. Looked fine to me.
  10. And heck of a throw by Love to adjust to the timing and throwing window on that. Very catchable ball for Doubs, who has been a major letdown today.
  11. Deguara is such a disappointment.
  12. Yeah, a cripple fight for draft position.
  13. Yeah, forget the rules people and their bs. Fail Mary. That is all. We’re owed for life.
  14. They don’t make anything easy, that’s for sure.
  15. They haven’t looked this bad since Hundley. It’s nigh on unwatchable.
  16. Whole middle of the field open. If that was an option route, Doubs chose…poorly.
  17. The pass catchers can’t even be trusted to reliably run the correct routes, and we’re the youngest team in football overall. No one on the team will say this (except maybe Bakh, because he’ll say anything), but this is a rebuild. And here’s my biggest problem with that situation: it gives everyone a pass. Every important member of this organization can plausibly say their job should be safe because of circumstances: - Love can say his protection up front was shoddy and his pass catchers were unreliable, deflecting criticism from his putrid accuracy. - LaFleur can say his offensive players were too inexperienced to be an accurate reflection of his intended vision, deflecting criticism from his inability to go to war with the army he has instead of the one he wants. -Barry can say his unit isn’t the problem, which deflects from the fact that he may routinely do less with more talent than anyone else in the NFL. - Gute can say Love needs more time, deflecting criticism from the fact it’s his guy, and considering when and how he took him, Love will be his career-defining move—and he looks historically bad so far. - And Murphy doesn’t care because he’s created an entertainment wonderland in Green Bay and is done soon anyway. So no one will be held accountable. And we do more of the same again. Hooray…
  18. I’m still open to the fact that I’m judging this emotionally. There’s a lot of bad football out there this year, not just in Green Bay. But I look at Mr. Irrelevant in San Francisco and consider we went up to get Love and prepped him for three years and he’s struggling. You want him to show growth (and, MLF needs to show growth, too—this year is as big for MLF as for Love). Big decisions need to get made and results like this in December makes QB look like a need.
  19. I hear you (though Jenkins played tonight?). But it’s 20 points. I’m not asking for Mahomes or Allen…or even Rodgers. Can’t be a little Fitzpatrick tonight? Can’t keep it to one or two picks?
  20. That game was right there for the taking all night. Offense can’t get 20 on a long week of prep against that team? Ryan Fitzpatrick gets that done. Love has to clear that bar.
  21. Well, if you’re inclined to think Love ain’t it, this game is exhibit A through about J, I think.
