  1. Yeah, I would take that. All about the contract though
  2. Wow…now it’s interesting
  3. I’m partial to the offensive line just sucks, personally. But Love has been bad. No real way to sugar coat it.
  4. Gary coming up huge. Just a massive play.
  5. And trying to use rookie tight ends on Maxx Crosby the play before to put them behind on that sequence is really a special kind of stupid.
  6. Dang it. Iffy window, CB arrived early…not sure how I’d grade that decision.
  7. How that cornerback covered Watson on the go route with subtle jersey tugs and arm bar is a masterclass in the art of finding just how much you can get away with. They should use it in teaching sessions.
  8. I wouldn’t advise covering Adams with Preston Smith. Maybe call a timeout?
  9. Yeah, I had the same thought. Made me think he didn’t really open it up because he’s still a little worried about the hammy. Which is fine, because were better with 80-90% Watson than 0 Watson.
  10. I get that you do it until they stop it, well, they stopped Dillon on 1st down. I don’t get why you go back to it again on 2nd. Really uninspiring.
  11. That drive had to feel good for Dillon. He’s been really struggling for like, two whole years.
  12. I can’t believe a gut run on 4th and 2 actually worked
  13. jimmy G always goes middle of the field when he has to have a play. He’s the anti-Rodgers. His arm to the boundary is questionable, but he has no fear of the pick,
  14. A QB who has all his weapons not named Jones. Watson is supposed to be a game changer. Where is he? Doubs is supposed to have this rapport with Love? Where is that tonight? We had a week and a half to get ready for this middling defense. We’re unprepared, and I’m ready to put MLF squarely on the hot seat. They won’t, of course, because “it’s Love’s first year as a starter” and “we’ve had so many injuries,” but there’s no excuse for looking this bad.
  15. Good job defense. Watch, we’ll can MLF and just elevate Barry to HC…
  16. Love is having a terrible half.
  17. Their screens work. Ours fool absolutely no one. Is it because Barry is consistently surprised by the obvious?
  18. Gotta get Watson involved. Or any wideout, at this point. Then again, we need Love to hit whoever he is throwing to in the hands. That would help.
  19. If Dillon can average these gains, Jones would be getting 10 a pop.
  20. It was a pretty low-percentage throw, that’s for sure. Maybe everything underneath was blanketed, too, but that’s hard to imagine with three defenders in the area deep.
  21. I had 13 victory beers waiting in my fridge for this postseason run, and they’re all going to taste delicious tonight as I drown my pain! In all seriousness, though, please drink responsibly. The world is a better place when you’re all in it, and I mean that sincerely. See you for some more optimism in 2024!
  22. Agreed. I am quite interested in what comes next. To say that the fate of the franchise lies on the shoulders of Chourio and Black is not an understatement. If we’re going to fix what ails the big club, it can only be through homegrown offense. It has to start next year.
  23. 30 base runners in two games? You tell me that and Burnes and Freddy start both those games at home against a team with a -15 differential and I’d take that every single time. This team is a sadness factory.
