  1. I don’t know. I agree it was a scramble play and Doubs wasn’t on the same page, but even if Doubs doesn’t break off the route, the safety was going to still be in much better position to catch that than Doubs was. Throw was too late.
  2. Ooof, Love. That was terrible.
  3. Bottom line, if Jones is healthy enough to suit, 5 rushes for 17 just can’t happen. It just can’t. I’ve defended MLF, but this is getting to the point where he has to be held accountable for this. Jones is the offense, he is the only real star, and he needs to be used as such. Full stop.
  4. Yeah, I get mad every time I think about it.
  5. We keep getting close to blocking those attempts off the edge. Missed it by a fingernail that time, it looked like.
  6. I would 100% go if I’m Detroit. FG isn’t really that helpful
  7. This D wasn’t going to pitch a second-half shutout. That is for sure. At least the third quarter was fun.
  8. This is the only flaw in your argument.
  9. Check down Charlie killing us.
  10. I hope he can, but he looked bad in year 2, and he hasn’t really proven anything yet as far as I’m concerned.
  11. Yeah, if we do end up coming back, that is going to be at least half the narrative.
  12. Heck of a throw and catch. Been waiting to see that from Love.
  13. Yeah, Herbstreit, I think we can stop calling Stokes a “starting” CB now. He hasn’t been that for a while.
  14. As per the usual
  15. Nice tackle, ‘sul!
  16. I could see that saving a TD on defense. And a halfway competent o-line at least helps flip the field position battle to neutral, perhaps. I don’t think we’re winning this game if healthy, but we’re not looking like this.
  17. Jaire, Campbell, now Musgrave. Those are critical players. Watson is basically getting more practice time out there.
  18. No one teaches how to tackle anymore. It’s just run as hard as you can into people and watch your brain cells disappear.
  19. Not helmet to helmet on that hit on Jones?
  20. This oline ain’t it. They’re completely uncompetitive.
  21. The lions can basically convert whatever they want. They’re in the process of taking out decades of frustration, and I can’t even begrudge them this. They should run this thing up. Maybe the Packers will come to terms with exactly where they are as a franchise. And I don’t mean to say I expected a good team. I thought 8 wins is about as good as we could possibly expect, as in the high end of our outcomes. But this team needs to accept they aren’t as strong in places they seem to think aren’t problems.
  22. ‘Sul is getting slaughtered. They’re targeting him every time they need a big reception.
  23. If the strengths of this team are supposed to be o-line and pass defense, and we play like we have so far, yeah, the Lions are going to be decisively superior.
  24. Three step drops and out, c’mon guys.
  25. Yeah, we’re going to need a much better effort than that from Rasul, especially while Jaire is out.
