  1. We’re in the barn, people. If you know, you know.
  2. We’re baaaaaaaaaack in the playoffs. But it’s time for more!
  3. Man, pitching Tellez, that could really hurt our run differential. Will no one think of the Pythagorean record?!
  4. Brian Anderson sighting! It’s like finding a Yeti.
  5. That’s it, wrap him up. He stays in bubble wrap until the postseason.
  6. I’m all on board with taking care of business against the Cubs, especially if it means eliminating them from postseason contention. I wouldn’t advise a reckless approach to it, obviously, but I wouldn’t be opposed to using any of our A-team arms in the first two games of the series. Get those entitled, drunk scrub fans out of our house, and move on to the wild card series against a team with a solidly negative run differential, thank you very much.
  7. Comfortable lead…is this what a Braves fan feels like all the time?
  8. Crow-Armstrong is hitless in his first five games as a pro. Desperation is a stinky cologne…
  9. It’s dry-Chafin-proofed, sure. But wet-Chafin-proofed? I don’t know…
  10. Badger Mutual Insurance run of the game!
  11. Stuck watching this on gamecast, and it’s really depressing seeing how crappy the heat map of Adames’ hitting zone is. He hits no location well, except for lower third, middle of the plate. And that AB, he had two there and couldn’t do anything with it. Just sad.
  12. Yeah, the funny thing was, the ump messed up two calls that AB, but in opposite ways, so the count was correct—ha.
  13. Not having to use Williams is a huge W at this stage. The fresher we can keep him, the better, because he is going to be absolutely leaned on in the playoffs. You could argue that there are only a handful of players on the roster who will be as determinative to how far the Brewers go as Devin Williams. If he can get a night off tonight, it was worth the risk.
  14. Just here for the Chafin angst (reverse jinx?)
  15. I mean, sure, but he’s not even cracking the top-100 winningest pitchers with that figure. Heck, Tim Wakefield got 200 wins. At that point it’s an Ironman award more than anything else.
  16. Good night, sweet prince. Pleas learn how to swing like a major-leaguer.
  17. It makes for a very enjoyable re-read this evening!
  18. He certainly moved the decibel needle. And the richter needle. Are those the right needles?
