Spring training the guy looked great. I don't know what happened but last year was a career year for him. Perhaps that was the best he's got.

Yelich looks like he's ready to go off. Good to see for sure. Why people are pitching to him is a mystery. He has nothing behind him.

Is Brock Holt in danger of being released at some point?? Wouldn't cost you much on his one year deal.

Credit for the battle but you have three chances with a leadoff double and you can't score a run?? Unproductive outs have been this teams signature for years. Throw in poor coaching on the bases and you're always going to come up short in a game like this. unfortunate.

I mean he got sawed off on the handle. It worked, but I don’t think it was necessarily a masterful piece of hitting. Job done though. If Garcia does that we score.

Avila with a ground ball to first did his job. Brewers rarely get that kind of ab.

The last two ab by Garcia and Pina are to me why you change hitting coaches. First pitch swinging pop ups killed both innings. You have to get guys to by into what needs to be done. Either of them hit a ground ball somewhere the Brewers have a run.

Off of what are we basing Hiura being a "star offensive player?" I guess he had a nice half season while striking out 35% of the time but so have over half of major league ball players. Personally, I need more of a sample size before I'm going that far. Hiura has elite bat speed and was very good for us last year. He can definitely be a star offensive player. I mean I thought Rickie Weeks could be too. You gotta put the bat on the ball more often. Hope he can get it together.
