How much mediocre pitching can one team throw out in one series? Unbelievable.

What would constuitute a waste? Missing the playoff? Losing in the Wild Card Game? Losing in the NLDS? Losing in the NLCS? Losing in the World Series? If they don’t win the World Baseball Classic, I’m disappointed. In my opinion you want to be back where you were last year. You brought back everybody and added Grandal so that's the goal to me. If you are the wildcard and out in one game lost season. We have to as fans ask for and expect more.

Be a shame to waste one of the great seasons in baseball history with Yelich. Find some pitching. You have the best player in baseball right now.

The Mariners are quitting so call and get Santana back. I hated giving him up and he has played well. Move Braun to first this year and next and put Santana in left. Add Hiura at second and all of a sudden lefty pitchers have a problem. -
Expose away. If you lose him it's unfortunate but he serves no purpose on this current roster.

We need pitching but this would have been a perfect add. I think they have the solution in AAA but they seem unwilling to go that route. Offense isn't going to keep them out of the playoffs but will be the pitching which is horrible and in need of four or five arms. -
Hard to get on Counsell when we don't know how much he has to say about the roster but if he isn't screaming for some help I would be shocked. Peralta is clearly a bullpen guy. Nelson right now looks like a bullpen guy. Burnes is a bullpen guy. Why not give Houser a shot in the rotation? Get rid of Claudio and Barnes. Pick up Cody Allen and see if you can salvage him.

What's the plan with Nelson? Obviously it's only two starts but dude looks rough. Freddy is not ready. Gio still out. This team needs three starters and four relievers and we sho6be ready to roll.

Cain's demise as a productive bat is a killer in front of Yelich. If he was last years version. Yelich would have 70 rbi.

I was thinking how the hell is a guy like Claudio leading the league in appearances when he sucks? Then you watch game after game and you see Counsell has no choice. He has nothing to work with. The guy has his hands tied with this staff and the new pitching coach has not made a positive impression to date. Stearns has to fix this.

I dare someone to say this team has plenty of pitching. This bullpen is horrible. The rotation not far behind. Stearns pick up the dang phone.

Yes to all of this. Tonight was the game to win especially looking at the pitching matchups. Going to be very tough today. Braun hitting 200 against lefties is a killer. With Aguillar being terrible they are defenseless.

Yelich is hitting between two guys who have been real spotty all season long. Get that man a few more baserunners and a scary bat behind him and look out.

Jesus on base percentage is almost the same as his slugging percentage. I did not think this was possible in this day in age. As a first basemen with bad D no speed and no other redeeming qualities the Hiura decision has to be addressed. Are you trying to put the best team on the field every night?

Wow. Would have loved to see a double steal attempt there. He can only throw out one of them. If he gets Cain then you have a man in scoring position with one out. There is virtually no chance Braun was not going to hit into a dp according to the laws of Brewer rallies.

Not sure if he's top 10(not saying he isn't, just haven't looked) but man, I'm so glad we traded for him last year and then re-signed him this year. I honestly wasn't a fan of both at the time, but as I said then, gotta trust Stearns. Mouse is having a career year and has been sooo valuable to this team with Shaw and Aguilar struggling. Still hoping we can get one of them going, but even if we don't, Hiura will be back up and our offense looks really nice. I was skeptical as well but he seems like a great guy and the championship experience doesn't hurt. To get him for 1 yr along with Grandal is theft.

Give the pitching a ton of credit. Astros scored in one inning all night. Incredible.

Moose has to be top 10 mvp candidate so far this season. Playing two positions and protecting Yelich. Dude is a stud.
