  1. Stearns has his work cut out this trade deadline. Tigers are open for business...I go get Miggy. Solves the 1B issue It's hard to think this team needs more offense to get where they want to go but if Cain is this version the rest of the year that off sets what Grandal has added.
  2. Knowing the kind of hitter Counsell was in his day it has to be killing him to watch this team not be able to even make contact un those situations. He wasn't a great hitter but he would choke up and slap a ball somewhere. It's got to hurt to see these guys be helpless.
  3. or not. I conclude good pitching always beats good hitting. Good pitching every single time though?? Once in a while sure but you don't need a hit. Just a ball in play? I don't know.
  4. Why don't you keep your opinions on what I say to yourself? I don't comment on your knuckle head takes. You work in a machine shop dude. Stop acting like you are Peter Gammons. Ignore me if you don't like it. It's simple. Probably should take your own advice their bub. Just pointing out how easy it could be for you to possibly change your own opinion on how terrible our players are. Bub? What does that mean?

  6. Literally 2 games ago, against the Pirates in the 7th inning. Team batting percent of multi-hit innings would be an interesting stat. True. The kind of inning that the Astros had seems to be the kind the Brewers struggle to produce. Leadoff doubles seem to be wasted even.
  7. I'm not sure why you continue to bag on Arcia. He's on pace for 50+ walks, and has a .740 OPS, which is a pretty solid improvement for him. We shall see where he ends up. I need to see more than a good 40 games to say he's fixed. More contact would be great start especially in big spots where runs could be produced.Hoping you are correct.
  8. I was unaware that the brewers have 2 full time hitting coaches?? That is unbelievable. This means they can split things up 6 whole players per coach and neither of them can get Aguillar figured out or teach Arcia the strike zone?
  9. Two outs nobody on and they come up with a 3 runs. This team is just not able to consistently shut down good hitting teams. Granted this is one of the best but man. That kind of rally is something the brewers are unable to pull off especially with the Aguillar and Arcia of the world swinging at balls.
  10. Give them credit they asked Counsell about pinch hitting Jesus in the 8th. Counsell basically brushed it off as if it never crossed his mind. He appears to be a brewer for life.
  11. Tough loss because if you get 8 with the lineup they have watered down you say u should win. This shows however that there really isn't a game you can afford to pitch Jacob Barnes. You know he isn't capable of keeping the game where it is so you really are just giving up. I ask again this is the best this organization can do?? Statements are being made when guys like Barnes and Aguilar are keeping spots that should be held by productive players.
