  1. I would’ve thrown something if he caught that. Least favorite player in all of MLB
  2. Braun mashes yesterday and we win in a shutout, then we get killed by bloop singles and wild pitches today and Braun gets hurt. Why can’t we have nice things
  3. Top of the order coming up, let’s get 2-3 runs then get Hendricks out of the game and put in Hader for 2-3 innings to keep us within striking distance. But Counsell looks like he already has struggling Taylor williams coming off an injury ready to come in instead to put the game out of reach.
  4. Jacob Barnes has pitched more innings than Hader. He has been sent down 3 times!! What does that tell you?? How that cam be the case is all you need to know about how he has been mismanaged. Unbelievable lol
  5. Hader has pitched 4 times since July 30th, for a total of 4.2 innings. Your best pitcher isn’t your best pitcher if you never put him in the game. You don’t need to save him for the postseason if you’re playing yourself out of postseason contention. If he was a starter he would’ve pitched 20+ innings in that time frame, although I can see his value as a reliever. BUT NOT IF HE IS NEVER IN THE GAME
  6. Should’ve pinch hit for him and put in Burnes or even Hader if they’re serious about winning the game.
  7. Was thinking the same thing. Guerra doesn’t have it today. Too late now and the rally is over
  8. Hendricks isn’t really doing anything different, it’s just that the hitters finally started swinging and the good pitches and watching he bad ones
  9. No, that was the first 2 times all game I think I’ve actually noticed it. Every other time they watch that meatball right down the middle every time
  10. No way, Shaw AND Schoop swung at the first pitch 85 mph fastball right down the middle and hit rockets, what a concept
  11. 85 mph fastball down the middle every first pitch and these guys don’t wanna swing at it lol
  12. Again, Piña watches a fastball down the middle pitch one then swings at a terrible pitch the second pitch. Half of the hitters have done this so far. Is Coles telling them not to swing at pitch 1?
  13. Why are they choosing the worst pitches to swing at every at bat, just swing at the first pitch fastball down the middle
  14. I’d be surprised if Craig Coshun even knew what 2 teams he was watching right now.
  15. I prefer to have JJ available to pitch high leverage situations. I mean. Knebel had the 7, 8, and 9 guys. If we can't trust him to get those guys out...then maybe he shouldn't be trusted anytime with a lead. I had hoped he would keep JJ in, but I thought going with Knebel there was okay. Gotta assume hes not going to walk all 3 of those guys...right? Or maybe not. High leverage situations like... the last inning of the game? The most important one when you have a lead?
  16. To be honest i was kind of done with Knebel when he completely choked away that game in Pittsburgh in the last week of the season with the playoffs on the line last year, when he miffed the throw to first, even though he started the year great
  17. Glad Albers is blowing it in a situation like this rather than in situation like last night, getting closer to getting DFA’d if the team is serious about getting to the playoffs. Last night I turned the game off when he came in cause I knew what was going to happen
  18. Pedroia won. That must be the one in the 2000s, though I can't believe it was that long ago. It was Pedroia in 2008, not Manny or Nomar in the 90s For some reason I thought Ortiz won in like 2006 or 2007 but I’m probably wrong
