Nvm that speculation lasted about 5 mins. Drohan now listed as one of the probably starters in the Anaheim series starting Friday.

Drohan was just yanked from today’s start without reason yet. Garrett Stallings optioned to AAA to recall today’s new starter Thomas Pannone. Tigers want a young controllable arm in the return for Skubal. I am ready to speculate

Didn’t even consider this til now. Stallings optioned to AAA for Pannone so it’s seemingly not a Drohan injury. Are they shopping him in trades rn???

They had 2 open 40 man spots so just hope Drohan isn’t hurt or something. Think he’ll end up our best long relief option in playoff games

If he ends up even close to a Schwarber level MLB guy I’d be pissed if it was on a different team, however I checked this morning and Fischer’s 35%ish K rate at A+/AA is well above Schwarbers last minor league season at AA/AAA (around 23%) so I strongly doubt Fischer hits as an MLB guy. Hope I’m wrong!

Ok after hearing a stat on a podcast that had been mentioned by Spencer M recently. I’m kinda out on Fischer and think they should sell high on him now and trick a dumb GM. Maybe send him to the Angels as a center piece in a Detmers trade. Fischer at double A has a higher in zone whiff rate (swinging at missing at straight up strikes) than EVERY SINGLE MLB PLAYER this year. Not an easy issue to fix. Trajectory kinda screams post rookie season Keston Hiura without major adjustments (so a AAAA player with a million MLB Ks) and in zone whiff rate is a very hard issue to fix. Likely to end up a big MLB bust. out of him and Burke I think Burke ends up the better MLB player although, brewers can just be patient and use a wait and see approach and if he ends up a bust no sweat they can give the 1B job to Burke or someone else

Yeah I would say Adams has earned a shot I just know they won’t replace a LHB with a RHB knowing how they operate. Still have Vaughn as RHB 1B. Plus like you said Blacks already on the 40 man.

I assume Tyler Black will be recalled but maybe this pushes them to make a trade. The Andrew Fischer fanatics will surely be calling for him even more now as well!

Some teams (maybe Brewers included) say they don’t like his SS defense as see him as a CF instead, would make more sense for us in that case

Somehow a Peralta for Jett/Burke swap is even more of a return than Peralta/Myers for Jett/Sproat, with a currently far worse version of Peralta and it being for even less time with Peralta than the original deal as well, and that radio host expects me to take it serious
