  1. Stearns isn’t selling because he’s not an idiot like some on here 3 games over .500!!! Sell everything!!
  2. I swear this forum has the biggest pessimisists in baseball. You go one game short of the World Series and are in a title run the next year with pretty much your exact same roster, then hit a bump and it’s time to rebuild. I can’t handle some of you.
  3. Imagine being so cynical that you guys find a way to be concerned about josh haders statistics. We could have Barry Bonds at his peak and y’all would find something to whine about in his performance
  4. Oh please. Leave Hader out of it. You cannot complain when the best reliver in all of baseball every once in awhile blows a save.
  5. Call it early, call it whatever, but Manny Machado and Bryce Harper are, as I predicted, going to cripple their franchises for another decade just like Carl Crawford, Albert Pujols, Prince Fielder, Felix Hernandez, Miguel Cabrera and Chris Davis. When are teams going to finally learn that players peak at about 29 and are never worth 10 year deals they sign for the big names? It hardly ever works out and I’m mind blown teams keep falling for the same old tricks... It honestly feels like 9/10 if you sign a big deal to a 28-29 year old it never works out well
  6. It seems half a decade that the Brewers have been in talks with the Mets about acquiring Wheeler, it frankly seems inevitable at this point, I’m just not sure what it would cost in terms of in house talent. 1 day ago — https://reviewingthebrew.com/2019/07/05/milwaukee-brewers-diamondbacks-trade/
  7. There is no cogent argument that could be made for this. Best relief pitcher....and I'd argue that I don't really care about best as much as valuable and Hader's not as valuable this year as he was last year. Still, unless we can actually get what some people are proposing...and I really doubt we can, we might as well hold onto him for another year or two and see where we're at then. Virtually every statistic, Hader is better this year than last year. Lower ERA, lower WHIP, better ERA+, better K/9....how exactly was he more valuable last season?
  8. I’d argue we have the best pitcher and best hitter in all of baseball right now, both controlled for 4 more years. Why would you mess with that?
  9. I think he will. He said several times how he really wanted to spend his entire career with one team and Lord knows he won’t need the money. The guy is loaded and has a family now, no reason to stay.
  10. Quote me I guanretee we will be playing in October
  11. This team is barely above .500 and only in first place due to the division being really bad. Instead of insulting people how about giving a detailed answer why we shouldn't consider trading Hader. Because they are the under team control for a long time and are players you build around. We are already built to be competitive for 4 years and trading them is simply setting us back to square one for literally no reason whatsoever
  12. Worst proposal I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Two days ago we were in first place and now y’all post about trading yelich and Hader? Get off this forum.
  13. I was looking at his contract and saw he has a mutual option for 2021, but those are rarely exercised. Kind of makes me sad we might only have one more year of him...any chance in your opinion he plays for us beyond 2020?
  14. Okay I get playing the matchups, but why on earth would you intentionally walk Thames to pitch to a guy who just this game hit a moon shot off a right hander?
  15. Yelich is coming out of it. Reached base 3/5 times yesteday and is 2-4 today with a walk. Reached in six of his last 10 plate appearances.
  16. Quick question... So we DFA Hernán Pérez, nobody claimed him within 72 hours and he is still listed on (unreliable I know) Wikipedia as “in the Milwaukee Brewers organiation”, yet I don’t see him on any of our farm rosters. Do we still have him or not?
  17. Can we stop giving Grandal and Thames rest days at the same time? Because I can’t deal with Aguilar and Pina in the same lineup, just give me one.
