  1. Keeping Keaton out against a good righty even though he has solid numbers against Musgrove. Not a huge deal. But why Vogelbach in the 2 hole? I totally agree with you Eye B. Maybe he likes a guy who works the count in that spot??
  2. The Crew a case study for how the Pack can successfully thrive without Rodgers. Brewers win the WS; Packers win Super Bowl with or without A Rod.
  3. Clearly guys like Coach Cooper and Don Mattingly teach this in their baserunning drills. Old school tricks.
  4. The Crew really putting the Cards pitching staff through the wringer this weekend.
  5. I'm not wishing injury on the guy, but watcing him getting plunked on a regular basis is pure entertainment. It is good theater. He simultaneously plays the victim and the villain very well.
  6. Many had higher hopes for Brett Phillips. His game hasn’t reached the same heights as his laugh, yet.
  7. Bright side: If Houser loses his lunch tonight it will be in the dugout, sickened by his teammates offensive display of hitting.
  8. The Sox lineup seemingly gives Steve Stone a hard-on each time he announces it. The lineup is without their spark plug -Tim Anderson. Brewers out-getters have their hands full.
  9. All of this reminds me of the days when we were kids playing hardball with baseballs that were busting at the seams. We kept playing until the ball fell completely apart.
  10. Lots on players minds - Has to be challenging to focus on the task at hand. CC will probably go with some old reliables on his card. Perhaps... 1 Sogard 3b 2 Hiura 2b 3 Yelich LF 4. Smoak 1b 5. Gyorko DH 6. Garcia RF 7. Pina c 8. Arcia Ss 9. Gamel CF I thought about leading off with Arcia but not yet. Maybe if he continues then give him a shot with lefties on the hill. Thanks for reading my distractions from reality that sports provide.
  11. March Madness would take on an entirely new meaning
  12. It shut down this forum?
  13. Williams seems to be pegged as a high leverage set up man. Is that what we anticipated or a bit surprising? Is this until Knebel gets back in a groove? I didn’t really follow pre-season bullpen usage.
  14. 2nd start of the year and 92 pitches. I'm ok with it. July 29 of any usual season, yes he stays with him.
