  1. What’s Villar have to do to get full time status lol. Sogard slaps one to gain full time status... lol
  2. That Aguilar at bat was huge, not giving up the at bat and raising the pitch count for Wacha.... hope that helps get to the pen faster
  3. Davies actually may suck , Or he is actually hurt more than we’ve been led to believe
  4. Great. Now we will be forced to have Sogard . Ugh screw this
  5. Yep I’ll be watching even tho threatening to turn it off. Even if it ends in our 10th shutout...
  6. #%<|€^*z Easy grounder nobody wanted - would have saved a run. Bases loaded walk. Just. Blah. Pitching again looking for that offensive bailout to drop again today hopefully !
  7. ...we are 15 games over .500.... we are 15 games over .500....we are ....
  8. I am trying to remain positive. But if we want sustainable growth and success ... like with Villar... gotta keep him playing! Pérez start instead of Sogard sure , but not vs a righty ! Come on CC!
  9. lineup looks good minus Villar missing. Villar is a better lefthanded hitter than right isn't he?
  10. We are 1/3 of the way to sweeping the Cardinals!
  11. I dont disagree with that. I rather pay a little for a guy like him however.. than overpay for a Hamels or other guys discussed who will command more and for in - most cases - not give you any more than we currently get.
  12. We are getting no respect. I like it that way. Wait til we win the division by 8 games and people still don't believe. Then we sweep the division series... then win the NLCS. Before you know it we take Houston down. They still won't believe but that's ok , whoever laughs last, laughs best.
  13. I really do like the Bartolo Colon idea as a super cheap pickup to be able to put Suter back where he is best - spot starter and long man. He's seen some things... and done some things... I'm not completely being sarcastic there either. I don't see any pitcher that will be well worth the package it would take as a slam dunk. I think Stearns will find a guy or two he can get cheap and smart that may just push the back end of the roster closer to the middle, thus improving the team overall. https://www.mlb.com/cut4/all-of-the-things-that-have-less-cultural-relevance-than-bartolo-colon/c-277960402
  14. I think the combo of us needing all hands on deck as there will be more injuries through the year at these positions, as well as most teams are looking for pitching if anything, will lead us to stand pat with this 1b/of StearnsMonster. I do believe he had intentions at one point of trading Santana or Aguilar but wisely didn't accept garbage returns. How smart does that look now?
  15. That's because this was the first week of games on FOX. FOX has an exclusive window from 6-9pm on Saturdays until the All Star Break so if teams in the east and central time zones want to televise their games locally they have to schedule them in the afternoon. You'll notice the Brewers don't have a Saturday night game again until the week after the All Star Break. This has been happening for the last few years now. Somehow I never knew this - makes sense now ! Thanks for the info!!
  16. I love beating St. Louis any day. But especially today, this year, right now. LETS KEEP IT GOING BOYS
  17. my goodness that is some awesome research. It looks like this current lineup would stack up nicely with most of those numbers.
  18. I'm happy CC is letting him be finally. He's rewarding him with that chance. Just like Saladino has been doing at SS. And Villar DID slug today. Turning this from a close game to being able to rest the big guns another day. That can be HUGE.
  19. Memorial Day benchmark. Another win. Division lead is 4.5. And we still have Thames and Nelson (hopefully) waiting in the wings as "deadline deals"
  20. And thankfully, no mentions of that guy with the glasses! Again, i repeat if the brewers sweep, i will not say one negative thing about that guy for one month.
