  1. Nice pick for the flashback Lions game. To answer you question from The other thread yes looks like we will be getting Myers and Bakh back which I think is pretty important for them to figure out where the oline will be for the playoffs. It seems like we miss the free plays now when guys jump, I am not sure if that is Patrick or if it goes back to losing lindsey but I don’t remember a free play all season. Rodgers seems set to play which surprises me but we will see when the inactive come out.
  2. Both Bakh and Jaire back at practice today. Fingers crossed both can get some work Sunday. Edit: Bakh full practice today and is questionable for Sunday. Jaire out for Sunday. Worlds Biggest Jerk/Possibly Bad Person also back at practice the last couple of days, but I don’t think he will or should play.
  3. It's not over, Vegas seems to think there is still about a 20% chance Brady wins it which isn't nothing. But if there is a Rodgers is a Jerk vote it may not end up in Brady's tally as voters may not want to explain that and will just say no QB deserved it and vote for Kupp or Taylor. There are probably a few guys who don't want to vote for Brady unless they have to as well. I don't think Rodgers plays this week but if he does and throws a pick and Brady throws 5 more TD's that could still swing a few votes but it's pretty hard to get past having the bye while Brady doesn't. Even if you concede the stats are comparable that is a clear tiebreaker.
  4. I know someone mentioned it above but didn’t really realize until just reading an article that Arkush is the “NFL expert” they have on every Packer radio pregame. I was never sure if it was just one guy or they rotated it but should make Sunday’s pregame show a little more interesting.
  5. I just read this again, so while taking complete responsibility he also pulls the same card Rodgers did and blames cancel culture for the whole mess. There is some irony there.
  6. The not revealing before announcement must be a newer thing, I remember looking up votes in the media for DPOY the year when Woodson won. I think I only found around 19 voters who said in their column who they voted for but it was enough of a sample to be pretty sure he was going to win. It does come off like he just doesn’t like Rodgers which seems sort of unprofessional for a guy who is trusted with a vote. Rodgers says they don’t even know each other so he is pretty much just complaining about behavior that we see from star pro athletes in every sport. As for the COVID as someone else pointed out if it cost them the bye it would matter and he likely wouldn’t win it. But it didn’t.
  7. I don't remember the exact situation but at the end of the half the Cards ran the ball on first down with the Cowboys having 2 timeouts left and I thought here we go but he DIDN'T call a timeout! That must have from all that "studying football" he did in his year off. They were talking about how he again blundered clock management on a morning show I was watching Monday so apparently he's still got the touch. He is still a buffoon to me, I laugh every time they show him on the sideline.
  8. I guess I would say the top 5 in the NFC holding just like they are now is best case scenario. After that Saints in over niners
  9. Thanks, I hadn’t thought of both the Cards and Rams losing but that is possible. Bucs losing to Panthers not so much.
  10. If it is Packers Cowboys it will be the late Sunday game. I don’t know if Tampa is possible anymore anyone else I would say is Saturday.
  11. I mean a win at Mackey when Purdue is #3? Never thought they had a prayer.
  12. Current mvp odds: Rodgers -400 Brady +500 Burrow +1000 A quick search of news from this morning seems to confirm it as well, with Rodgers regular season over and The bye clinched it is pretty much over. 35/4 and leading the league in rating is very MVPish stat wise. I am not sure what anyone can do next week to move it much, Rodgers can’t lose it anymore.
  13. I would like to avoid the Rams as long as possible, if Stafford doesn't throw the game away they are tough to beat. OBJ seems to be working out for them. I feel like we beat Tampa this time around, Brady doesn't have the weapons anymore. The Cowboys scare me a bit because of their pass rush against our Oline, now that Gregory guy is actually panning out? I think we see one team going down at home 1st round so it's probably going to be 49ers/Saints/Cards/Eagles in divisional round.
  14. Is Rodgers the MVP? He won’t play next week and not much else to be decided so race seems over at this point. I would say yeah, pencil it in.
  15. Getting the bye in the NFC was surprisingly easy
  16. Meh, once again the passing game not rolling early.
  17. Getting 3 on opening drive is progress by this years standards
  18. 538 has Packers 98% to get bye.
  19. Vikings are pretty much cooked win or lose, they need both Saints and Eagles to lose next week.
  20. Was doing fine until Dallas blew it up with the trick play. I like to complain about the Packers but every team struggles to stop those late desperate scores.
  21. Seems like the Cardinals have missed a bunch of shots at turnovers, just a lot of lucky bounces for the Cowboys.
  22. 10-0 cards after a fake punt and a 4th down td. So far so good.
  23. It was a no brainer, worst case is likely KC ties with a FG and you have OT just like if you don't convert on 4th and KC runs out the clock rather than being aggressive from their own 1. Maybe they felt KC would tie it for sure and didn't want to face OT again.
  24. The top 3 WR's in the NFL are in the NFC this year but Chase may pass them all next season. Wow
  25. I thought next seasons potential increase was limited because they need to offset the cap# they allowed this season after last years losses. I think the COVID year probably is out of the equation after that so probably more predictable. Either way at this point not even worth doing the math until we find out what Rodgers wants to do.
