  1. Wow, what a disaster for the Chiefs, the punt returner runs back toward the end zone and fumbles, but how do the Saints not recover?
  2. I actually thought Duke was hosting a bowl game when I saw the thread title change.
  3. I root for the Vikings about as often as there is a Saturn/Jupiter conjunction and of course they are letting me down. Their defense is terrible.
  4. So the most likely path to the Pack clinching bye with win next week would be Wash and KC win today and Seattle win next week. Then assuming Bears are eliminated we could rest starters week 17. Of course that didn't work out too well in 2011...
  5. I don't know, it's not that tough in the NFL to turn things around when you have the QB in place. The Lions aren't Jets bad, I think they had a couple of losses that should have been wins early. Remember how garbage the Packers were in 2018, we just left a bad coaching staff in place for too long. That franchise just seems unlucky but if I was a fan I would probably be fine with moving on from Stafford just for the change.
  6. I didn't tune in until the 2nd half but they said Louisville was missing some players. Still, you would think their backups wouldn't get smoked like they're Praire View A&M. Badgers had a couple of solid wins in those fill in games with Rhode Island and Loyola leading up to this as well.
  7. Bears may still have a shot at the playoffs when we play them. We shall see if their big win over Houston was a mirage after this weekend's game against the Vikings. Yes if they are alive it will be a tough game but I don't really expect it as I thin they will lose to the Vikes this week. But an 8-8 wildcard team could be in play this season? I wonder if the eliminated teams laying down may be more pronounced in the Covid season, players even more anxious to just go home for the offseason than usual.
  8. I had no idea I wouldn't get the game on hulu live until reading this, guess i will be getting a fubo trial too. One thing nice when you are trying to finish off a playoff drive is teams out of it don't risk injured starters and sounds like maybe McCaffery won't go. This seems like the key game to get the bye, Tennessee might not matter and the Bears seem like they may roll over for us after the wheels came off their promising start.
  9. Well I don't know if that was true this past offseason with his contract and all the uncoachable talk. But this coming offseason? Yep the guy is one of the 3-4 best players in the league right now plus the Packers eat a lot of the bonus so the contract probably gets pretty easy for teams to take on. Coming into this season I thought he probably would be traded soon but I doubt it now. I understand why Jones is probably upset he didn't get a new contract but it's bad luck for him. We just gave 2 record deals out to other pending FA's and for the first time in years the cap will likely drop instead of the constant growth that gave teams so much flexibility. Plus, while I don't agree with it they may prioritize King and just bring Williams back at RB. But no matter what I expect the Packers to wait and see what the market is for Jones/King/Linsley. It will be a weird offseason where the the headliners may still get the big deals but there may be a lot of average starters dumped on the market who can be had for cheap. The Packers may take their comp picks and fill up the roster with the released guys again.
  10. Adams first player in NFL history with 6 catches and a TD in 8 straight games.
  11. That is good news, I do think the Saints will lose another one.
  12. Aren't we in the drivers seat now? I think we’re all nervous about the Titans game and think we need one more Saints loss... OK, yeah but I would say we will be 3-4 point favorites in that game and 8-9 in the other 2. And at 4 losses I think other teams would be in play? Just win out...
  13. Aren't we in the drivers seat now?
  14. Did Gary get hurt? Didn't see him in the second half. Nice win, #1 seed in our pocket if we can hold it.
  15. Man that felt like total mettdown and Crosby delivers
  16. Took over half the quarter, defense needs to take advantage of the break
  17. Yeah that felt like a big victory. Really need a TD to open this half, the Lions don't feel like the Jags/Eagles where you can hope on the opponent sucking and handing you the win. The offense needs to dominate their D. 14 points wasn't enough we wasted 2 possessions in the 2nd.
  18. This is going to be a tough game, Stafford and the Lions O are on and of course our defense is poorly managed. Seems like a game where first turnover will turn it.
  19. I will never get sick of watching Viking kicker meltdowns
  20. That play was disappointing but at least the D showed again they can shut down a bad offense. They always seem to let us down in the end, just last season I felt pretty good about them going into the NFCC game, but the talent is there if they can put it together.
  21. I think they lost HFA when they laid an egg at home against the Vikings. Well, the Saints still have the Chiefs and the Vikes who somehow refuse to die. Probably have to win out though and you are right that is the game that will likely make the difference.
  22. all of the sudden the offense is inept
  23. It's a ball game, I blame myself for saying garbage time
  24. Cmon guys, garbage time but would have been a great game for the defense if we stopped them there and that was too easy.
  25. Wilson's numbers today look bad. I haven't watched it at all, but losing to Colt McCoy? That would be nice if Seahawks lose but good teams usually rally at home against bad teams. I have no idea about the Giants though.
