  1. Shaw with another infield pop-up. Seems like he has done that more in the last month than the last 2 years combined. He’s got to start hitting at some point doesn’t he?
  2. Thats cool, I have reached my tipping point with people saying things that make no sense and then defending it when questioned. There is no way that someone who really gets baseball thinks Guerra has been good this season. If he wants to piss on me because I look at meaningful stats instead of a 17 IP sample of ERA which takes 500 IP to start to become meaningful so be it. This forum has been corrupted by knee jerk low knowledge posters to the point it is hard to stomach visiting at this point. I actually have him on ignore because of the consistent low quality posts but I made the mistake of clicking on display this one time. Anyone referencing ERA in a 17 IP sample just doesn't get baseball, it means absolutely nothing in that sample. LOL. You aren't wrong, and please continue to post as much as possible. Still, you aren't helping yourself here. All I’m going to say is I totally disagree with your statement that guerra hasn’t been good. And I’m thankful that CC is ignoring the Brewers analysts who no doubt have givin him the same stats you quoted.
  3. Guerra 2.08 era 17.1 innings only givin up 7 hits on the year whip of .87 those stats not bottom 20%. But more importantly CC trusts him and I think all of us here do too except you.
  4. Going into this game he had a .700 OPS over the past 2 weeks so he has heavily slowed down. I would easily take the field over him at this point. He has a ton of holes in his swing. He could win it but it is like a 1 in 5 shot or so and that is mostly because the NL rookie field is a little weak this season. Right now the clear frontrunner is Paddack for me but he'll hit an innings issue at some point. Even with a ton of holes in his swing he’s hit 10 dingers and ops’ing over 1000. New York market not gonna hurt his name recognition either.
  5. You know that Keon will hit a 3 run shot off us if given the chance, because that's just the kind of thing that happens to the Brewers. Not with that hole in his bat.
  6. I think JMB has been right all along, and given time, his FB is slowly rising, even if only 1/2 tick every 2-3 appearances. Last 2 outings breaking stuff and command coming around too. At this point I think we’ll all take a 2.75-3 Jeffress.
  7. That almost seems like a given at this point. Their previous team record of 231 HR in 2007 was an average of 1.43 home runs per game. Currently through 34 games they have 61 home runs which is an average of 1.80 per game. From this point forward they would need to average less than 1.3 HR/game the rest of the way in order to not break the record, which seems unlikely. Another HR fun fact, the Brewers are only 21 home runs away this season from tying the total number of HRs hit by the 1992 Brewers for the entire season (a team that won 92 games). They should have that number before Memorial Day this year. I should have been more clear, they will set the all time “MLB” team home run record.
  8. The Crew will set the all time team home run record. From this date forward, the crew will have the lowest earned run average in the NL. The Brewers will get past the Dodgers and beat the Yankee’s in the World Series.
