  1. The bolded part I do agree with
  2. If Im not mistaken the Brewers % chances have gone down like 32% from July 1. July was a killer month for us
  3. If Shaw is back to form, he's the primary 3B, Moose at SS. If not... there are options. From off the top of my head: 1. Braun 3B, Moose SS 2. Moose 3B, Arcia SS 3. Erceg 3B, Moose SS 4. Moose 3B, Hager SS 5. Moose 3B, Saladino SS The only option reasonable above is #2. Moose at short for a whole season? Oh boy Braun at third and Moose at short would be as great a spectacle since landing on the moon. that would be some captivating television
  4. How many more games against the pirates do we have? 3? We aren't making the playoffs
  5. Confucius once said: "Anyone asking for an eat crow thread, should be careful what they wish for" then he added "beware of using your hader on back to back days. The results can be mystifying"
  6. I’ve heard what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger So we are all better people after trade deadline So we got that going for us
  7. The scary thing about that is they are going to bring someone up to play backup SS at some point. If they send Grisham down as the corresponding move I will be furious. Shaw needs to go down
  8. Misconceptions about Braun? You don’t say. Honestly Braun needs to become a first baseman next year. I’m not sold on Thames being the full time guy next year. Cain will probably be here so you have to give this Grisham guy a chance. Cain, Yelich, Grisham, gamel outfield. Make Braun play first If we had a choice of signing Grandal or moose next year who would you choose I’m almost inclined to sign moose. I really don’t want to go into next year with Shaw at third. He might bounce back or he might be just done. Then what the hell,do,we do
  9. Aguilar has hit the ball well since leaving. I thought that might be a good trade for the rays. I could see him tearing it up the rest of the year Good for him
  10. Losing to the cardinals in 2011 nlcs was worse. We were just a better team than them. The dodgers were pretty good. The thing that sucked about last year was just like the bucks. We had them beat but couldn’t stamp on their neck. Just like jeffress blowing game two and the long extra inning game and the double overtime loss. Just win one of those games and blithe teams get over the hump
  11. The 2019 strategy of hopefully the other teams lose too, kind of goes out the window when you are playing them
  12. Time to get Guerra in there next inning We might as well go full brewer this game
  13. I don’t know the answer to that, but these are the lowest all-time among qualified hitters for a season (which would typically require around 500 plate appearances in any given season)... Chris Davis, 2018 Orioles: .168 Dan Uggla, 2013 Braves: .179 Rob Deer, 1991 Tigers: .179 John Gochnaur, 1903 Indians: .185 John Gochnaur, 1902 Indians: .185 Shaw makes rob deer look like rod carew
  14. This whole Shaw thing. Is seriously the most ridiculous thing in Brewers history
  15. The brewers are a bad team and have been for awhile. As soon as people come to that realization the better off everyone will be
  16. So the starters next year will be Braun/Grisham Cain Yelich Braun/Thames hiura Arcia Shaw Pina. That could be ugly
  17. 2008 was an all time emotional roller coaster. Especially when the wait was like 26 years for a playoff game. Braun homer on that last day was one of the all time great exhilarating moments as a brewer fan
  18. The brewers were never mike Tyson. More of like a Trevor berbick
  19. Davies has really hit the “remember who you are” phase of the season 57-54. This season is just a disappointment. It just hasn’t been very fun.
  20. If one's expectations were based on preseason projections, they have played within that range to this point... BPro: 88 wins Vegas: 86.5 wins 538: 86 wins ZIPS: 85 wins Current Pace: 84 wins OOTP: 83 wins Expecting 90+ wins & an easy cruise to the postseason was always an unlikely outcome in an increasingly competitive NL. I expected a back & forth dog fight for the NL Central title/possible Wild Card that would need 162 games (or maybe even more, again) to settle & that is exactly what we've gotten. You must really love baseball to get all excited about the cubs cardinals back and forth dogfight for the nl central
  21. Wow. 6-2 What’s that thing called when you take bread and put it in a toaster? Some people like to put jelly or butter on it?
