  1. Suppan, crimony The game is somehow tied, let's not do this
  2. Jason Kendall is a man Perhaps THE man
  3. Why do I always get nervous when the Brewers score in the first inning on the road
  4. Like I said, nothing to it! Losing streak over! Great job, Big Ben, great job bats
  5. It really stinks that our closer fills me with such dread...I think we've really been spoiled the last couple years (heck, even Kolb and often T-Bow before that).
  6. Well, we'll work on base-running next now that he's perfected batting
  7. I admit I freaked out when the Brewers signed Kapler this past January
  8. I've got the shirt with that image...I started a thread about it (or hijacked one, I forget) this past January. I got mine on Amazon.
  9. Two hits, two runs Color me amazed we're still in this one
  10. I was thinking about this the other day...I guess we'll see what comes of those draft picks we got for Coco, or even Laynce Nix (rolling my eyes), but what is El Caballo's legacy in Milwaukee? The White Sox won a World Series title after the trade--I'd argue that they did indeed "win" the trade.
  11. Agreed. To that end, I suggest a pre-game show in NYC this weekend where Trenni injects Prince live on television with Bovine Growth Hormone...Wisconsin-bred hormones, of course. Problem solved.
  12. "We're going to 'serve notice' and/or 'make a statement' this series!!!! KILLER INSTINCT, HOLLLA!!!!"
  13. Yo had actually gotten absolutely rocked the night, with pitches all over the place, before so maybe he was the one listening to T-Bow.
  14. I took this last August here during the Brewers' series in San Francisco...I can only imagine what these two talk about: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v492/SeriesFinale75/IMG_2556.jpg
  15. I know a lot of us (or at least I did) felt that, despite the small sample size, the Brew Crew made a pretty good statement taking two at Wrigley against the Cubs, especially with Zambrano and Lilly on the mound. I also know that the Reds missed Sheets and we got Cueto and Harang...all the same, did Cincinnati "make a statement" this week taking two at MP? Personally, I think any statement they made was one the Crew was aware of anyway--the Reds will be pretty good this year and should eb considered legitimate contenders for the division. I just hate to give them a series at Miller Park when GABP has been such a House of Horrors for the Brewers as of late.
  16. I knew we'd had success against the Harang-atan before, hopefully CV can knuckle down and we take the first rubber match of the year I'd think the home team has the advantage in these day game situations
  17. I joked about it in the IGT but now I actually am steamed that the Brew Crew relinquished the division lead tonight. Better now than September 18th, I guess
  18. Holy smokes I guess retroactive to April 4 isn't as bad, but I guess I thought Yo might take his place
  19. Annnnd we're going to the 14th in Pittsburgh.
  20. Well, everything's coming up Milhouse elsewhere, for now at least. Cubs strike out twice with a man on 2nd to end their half of the 13th and Houston inches back in
  21. http://disney-clipart.com/Chicken-Little/Disney-Chicken-Little.jpg "A little late, but I made it here, everybody!"
  22. Blah, and the Cubs take it into the 12th and St. Louis just expands its lead
  23. But what about The Dream of Wire-to-Wire?
  24. Houston just came within 1 run.
