  1. Good Lord … Monasterio please Who else can cover 3B? That looked routine Horrible throw
  2. What’s the latest news on EBJ after his most recent injury?
  3. Yes he is … when (completely) healthy
  4. Who suggested the sky was falling? That’s quite a “dramatic” over response on your part
  5. The last update on Woody indicated a pause in his progress … that he “wasn’t recovering well” after his recent addition of breaking balls to fastballs I love Woody - by far my favorite Brewers pitcher - but I’m not confident he will help them much down the stretch this year And … I hope I’m wrong just as I was with Yelich 😇 ⚾️
  6. I too hope that Jones could be that much needed solid RH bat in the Brewers lineup I don’t believe he will see time at 3rd base - he’s listed as a 2nd baseman with “some OF experience I’d be happy for Jones to be a RH option at DH
  7. Have I missed something? How is this true?
  8. Does this mean you have more confidence in the Brewers offense than the Reds pitching? Cincinnati has been red-hot … the Cubs - despite a talented & more balanced roster - have never caught fire this season I fear Cincy will trade prospects for quality pitching & Milwaukee will be a distant 2nd in the bland NLC
  9. I believe if Hiura was recalled for this brief paternity leave for Anderson, he would have to be added once again to the 40-man roster (like Jahmai Jones) & would have to be released if they wanted to send hi back to Nashville since he is out of options (unlike Jones - who has one option remaining)
  10. I wonder if Hiura could be a trade candidate (part of a return) should Milwaukee attempt to acquire talent at the deadline We need a strong RH bat - someone with low strikeout, high base on balls, high on base % … that doesn’t sound like Hiura Jones “could” potentially be that guy - based on his strong AAA season to date I would not mind seeing Winker DFA’d (sooner than later) - he has simply underperformed all season - & I’m aware he is recovering from neck surgery … he simply could be washed at 29
  11. I had this exact same thought … Toro & others at Nashville as well
  12. I’m curious to know … How many on this board had actually heard the name Jahmai Jones before today? (I had not) How many on this board have done a deep dive on his history after today’s game? (I have) BTW - he’s been CRUSHING lefties in AAA this season (.386)
  13. Much more so than when you originally suggested servicable
  14. Redemption for the Pittsburgh debacle on Friday night
  15. Guilty as charged Enjoying the “new & improved” version which looks similar to the Miami version I’ve been waiting for him to get his BA back to .280 Today might be the day
  16. He had to come back to earth Sadly, he pitched well enough to win three games where he got no run support
  17. I certainly hope so on Pannone Glad the Bush experiment is over
  18. I hope he starts today & hits two HRs 🙌🏼
  19. I consider myself a fairly knowledgeable baseball fan … but I’ve never heard this name before
  20. It appears he didn’t make the NL All-Star team as a reserve OF … that’s disappointing
  21. Looks like I underestimated this particular lineup - happy to be wrong from time to time
  22. This lineup … makes no sense How can such a mediocre team “give away” games? This is similar to what Counsell did last year on Sunday afternoon I honestly don’t understand the logic here
