  1. They are all good. Though this win is why I love this team and worry about this team come the playoffs. I love that I feel like when the game is close later they will pull it out. And I worry because its.much harder to hold the Dodgers or Cubs to 1 run this late.
  2. For someone that doesn't follow other teams prospects, what is a Brewer comparable?
  3. Reminds me of Turang in that the power is going to come.
  4. I assume they are just trying to get him acclimated and are not playing him because he passed Lara.
  5. His celebrations are corny and I don't quite understand many of them. That said, I like them all, especially if they're playing the Cardinals. F' them.
  6. I know it frowned upon to root for injuries so Im not going to be the one to talk about Skubal's elbow.
  7. This will make it even sweeter when we beat them in the playoffsand win the WS. ^ all the optimism I can muster
  8. Watching Siri play LF makes me appreciate the Brewers OF's all the more. He might be a better boxer.
  9. If we have Skubal we have the best starter in 4 of 7 games at least. They go 3 of 4 in Skubal / Miz games, and only need 1 of the other 3. The Dodgers lose all the time, 42 games so far. There is no reason with the best 2 starting pitchers they cant win 4 of 7. I wouldn't make them the favorites necessarily. But there's a decent chance.
  10. This is what we do (yes we, my MLB subscription fee makes me part of the team, its in the fine print probably).
  11. The Angels lead all of baseball in non-stud earrings.
  12. Bauers (DH/1st) playes everyday and Vaughn (1b) / Yelich (DH) platoon.
  13. He could be required to play. On the other hand, they could embrace the sunk cost theory.
  14. Both of these teams are putting on a clinic in poor challenge decisions.
  15. Not a fan of Bauers playing RF. If Vaughn is playing 1b, DH is either Yelich or Bauers.
  16. I like them. Most of the city connects come across like they are trying too hard just to different and the look terrible. The Angels looked clean.
  17. I thought Yoho was starting to show something. His July number were very good. 14 ip, 1.93 era, 0.64 whip Ill wait and see what Heuer brings before I judge amything.
  18. Id think he has value as a defensive replacement and pinch runner. The Brewers have so many fast guys that are good OF's in Mitchell, Lara, Felick, Lockridge, and Chourio that he doesnt bring that value to the Brewers.
  19. Maybe the grand plan is to trade Contreras this offseason and go with Quero and Naylor next year. Or something as simple as they wanted an emergency C in case something happens to Contreras or Sanchez and they aren't sure healthwise is Quero can do it in the short-term. They could have just seen something in Naylor they think they can fix, they've shown to have the technology. Its such a minor trade that I dont think it necessarily has a ripple effect.
  20. I wish him well in the American league. Ill always remember him for making great catches in the most nonchalant manner possible, including HR robberies.
  21. Or Chourio gets benched and Yelich wakes up, or they both start and both wake up. Any of those
  22. They all count thw same in the standings. They soundly beat a bad team, as the should.
