    Peralta is 25th in the league in pitches per start but only 67th in innings per start. If he could become just a bit more economical it would help narrow that gap. Regardless, he certainly has been elite lately (although the competition the last 3 starts hasn't been much).

    Frelick has now walked and homered the only two times he's faced a lefty. Neutral splits in the minors. Next time we face a lefty and he's on the bench, my tv might want to hide the remotes.

    Adames will almost certainly be looking at something closer to $11 million. No way he's on my team next year.

    To be fair, Frelick did get one ab against a lefty. Maybe had it been a grand slam instead of a measly 3 run shot, he would've gotten another shot by now.

    Looked like an easy DP hit to Turang that Santana makes a foolish dive for. And then that play in the OF. Wake up guys.

    I don't think so, at least not as a regular. Don't think he provides enough hitting value long-term to cut it. Might be best for him to learn to play some in the outfield if possible to add to his versatility in a pinch.

    Overall, I just don't think Peguero is very good. Mediocre at best reliever, poor K rate. Has been particularly bad at home with a 4.80 ERA.

    Somebody tell Rock that at least two rookies that I know of won a gold glove last year.

    Maybe if Frelick could get his OPS higher than 5.000 against lefties he'd have a shot at starting against one.

    Wonder what they would have done with Freddy if that was the case. I'm sure he would have gotten the 8th but who knows about the 9th.

    See what happens when Adames doesn't play? Seriously, I don't think there is a reason I'd bring him back next year unless he finishes the season on a heater (which I doubt).

    He should never be sitting for anybody. Completely neutral splits in the minors so no reason for it whatsoever.

    They better be looking to get that guy locked up long-term ASAP.

    For a guy who's 37 and has hit .212 with a .688 OPS over the past 4 years, just not sure what anyone was expecting.

    I agree as well. I've wanted Anderson gone for quite awhile and with Rock doing fewer and fewer games I'd like him gone too. Problem is I don't like anybody else doing the games now either. But I'd love two new 162 game announcers or close to it.

    Agreed, he needs to be a little smarter the way he throws his body around. There have been some that never learned the lesson and had shortened careers due to it.

    Of course nobody will be complaining that Santana just struck out. Only complain about calls that go against us. Maybe that's what a team forum is all about but I've never been into that either.

    My two cents, that missed call had the ball catching the zone by basically the amount of the seam of the baseball. I aint gonna sweat those type of missed calls one bit.

    23 runs last 22.1 innings pitched. I think it's almost time for a good old DFA.

    I really don't like Wiemer's arm very much. That short arm quick fire just doesn't seem the way to go for me. Not that it matters tonight.
