  1. Pitching to contact is a completely foreign concept to Freddy. Love to know the number of non-competitive pitches he throws and where he ranks in that regard.
  2. Good to hear. Once I saw Tua signed earlier today I figured it would be getting close.
  3. I'd trade Wiemer and worse. But you say that won't bring anybody back to help. I'd say that's the point. If a guy has multiple years of control that could be a different story.
  4. Definitely the pitcher I least want to watch as well. Not even close.
  5. Maybe if you had called him an ace three times instead of the two you have since the start of the game, things might have been different,
  6. Me either, but more in Mitchell than in Turang.
  7. What was Jackson thinking about there? But still glad he's batting 8th.
  8. Agreed. I was afraid to look up Contreras. That's gotta be in the same ballpark as Ortiz.
  9. And of course, keep Brice at the top.
  10. Sorry Vinny, I'd have tossed him too.
  11. Probably true, it's just pretty sad he doesn't.
  12. Or by the end of the Rockies series according to our astute Brewers announcers. I won't be asking them for help with my math homework.
  13. Freddy looked good against the Angels and Marlins. Not too hard to do that. The other 10 starts of his last 12 have pretty much been mediocre or worse,
  14. Freddy might not be our worst starter, but he's the one I enjoy watching the least.
  15. If I have to hear that Freddy's an ace ever again, my TV better duck.
  16. No offense, but I've often seen Woody batting comments and to be honest, I don't quite understand it all. He started off very well certainly but ended up going 6 for his last 65 with 35 Ks.
  17. Just love those backward Ks. Hard to believe that we wouldn't lead the league in those.
  18. I enjoy history so I'd rather lose on a no-hitter than a 10-9 game myself. Still remember being there for Steve Busby's no-no which was nearly 50 years ago.
  19. And admittedly, Freddy could have cruised through 6 too if a certain LFer makes a pretty routine catch.
  20. Granted but a starters ERA of 3.73 against non-Brewers and 0.00 vs Brewers still is hard to fathom.
