Pitching to contact is a completely foreign concept to Freddy. Love to know the number of non-competitive pitches he throws and where he ranks in that regard.
I'd trade Wiemer and worse. But you say that won't bring anybody back to help. I'd say that's the point. If a guy has multiple years of control that could be a different story.
Freddy looked good against the Angels and Marlins. Not too hard to do that. The other 10 starts of his last 12 have pretty much been mediocre or worse,
No offense, but I've often seen Woody batting comments and to be honest, I don't quite understand it all. He started off very well certainly but ended up going 6 for his last 65 with 35 Ks.
I enjoy history so I'd rather lose on a no-hitter than a 10-9 game myself. Still remember being there for Steve Busby's no-no which was nearly 50 years ago.
