  1. All this talk of Yelich and those hard hit balls to the right side of the infield, don't forget the plethora or weakly hit groundballs to the same side. To be honest, I remember a lot more weakly hit ones than hard hit ones.
  2. Please don't start the Gallo talks again. I was so happy we were not in on him at the deadline last year. He just isn't a guy we should want anything to do with.
  3. Huge difference between extending Yelich and extending Burnes. Yelich had not yet played since his season ending knee cap injury. We extended him anyway. Burnes, as far as we know, is 100% healthy. Not the same situation.
  4. That dude is hurt a lot, I mean A LOT! If we could get him for 2 years at 4 million, maybe so, but as much as he is on the field, it would have to be a very cheap, incentive laden contract for me to have any interest at all.
  5. The Brewers didn't develop Lauer, and I'd go as far as to say they didn't develop Hader either...

  7. Mitchell is NOT a throw in player. Lauer and Wong for Kirk, maybe, but no way I'd just THRIOW in a guy like Mitchell. That is crazy talk.

  9. Some of you are acting like Abreu is a "force?" Yes he has a hit tool that Rowdy doesn't have, but 15 homers in 2022 is far from a "force."

  11. Problem with baseball stats, you can usually find the stats to back up your point, but then again, so can the guy on the other side of the argument. So many stats to use, so many outcomes.

  13. Morosi is reporting that the Padres are making Abreu their top priority as a free agent signing this off season, and have already contacted him. Once the teams with the big boy funds start to inquire about the guys that we might want, odds are, we aren't going to get them without overpaying.

  15. How many DH type guys can we afford to roster? We all know that Yelich, if we are being honest, should be a full time DH. Hiura, same. Several claim that Rowdy's defense should land him at DH. Some have been saying Wong should be playing at DH. Now we want to sign another guy who ideally fits at DH in Bell/Abreu? This roster is already frustrating, and we now have plans to muddy it up even more, and still not having a legit guy at 3B or C?

  17. I have never, not once in my 50 years as a Brewer fan, seen anything refer to Brewer Gold. It just isn't done. Not sure what that article has to do with anything, yes yellow/gold is one of our colors, but no one considers yellow/gold as our main color. Just a weird reference imo. Carry on.

  19. All this talk of replacing Rowdy with guys who "might" be better, and we are still planning on going into the season with Urias at 3B? Why in the hell does this organization continue to ignore 3B? Urias isn't the guy, he just isn't. If we are going to spend $ on Abreu or Bell, I think it's foolish when we still do not have a 3B on the roster.

  23. Imo, Singleton is a wasted spot. He seems like the kind of player we are trying to get away from.
