  1. There were two outs. Reliever just lost it. Walked two consecutive. Josh just waits and pounces like a mountain lion on the first pitch smoking a deep fly to the right CF gap.
  2. I am pausing to do my animal chores. And, really, take a walk to shake off these sloppy baseball blues. Woof.
  3. And, hey, let's get some pitchers in on the action. RHP Craig Yoho throws a ball in the dirt to the backstop allowing the runner to reach 2B freely at 1B with one down. Unbelievable stuff across the board we are seeing tonight. I say it routinely but it is worth saying it again: We are feeding the baseball gods with some truly ugly Brewers Minor League baseball of late. It's the price we must pay and my witness to these sloppy events across the system put the token in the slot. LOL.
  4. AND, C Matt Wood misplays a perfect one hop relay throw to home plate that would have been the final out of the 7th inning. Man. EBJ threw an absolute accurate dart. Gotta catch that. AND, in Wisconsin the CF Kaylan Nicasia experience gets uglier with a misplay fielding the ball and then throwing an inaccurate ball to catch the runner trying to reach 2B. Anyhow... OH, and one play later EBJ botches an inning ending grounder. THIS IS SLOPPY BASEBALL EVERYWHERE ACROSS THE SYSTEM AND IT'S GROSS 😅
  5. I like MacGregor's action on his heater. Really like the shape I'm seeing. He's ahead 1-2 with a runner on 1st base. One down. Top of 7.
  6. Well, Nicasia shows he is a natural corner OF'er but not a natural CF'er misplaying a deep liner to the warning track. That's a ball he absolutely has to catch. Completely misplayed the flight path. Lead-off man aboard in the 5th.
  7. I love when umps call 3-1 strikes balls. Smith walks his first batter after retiring eight in a row. Absolutely blown call by the ump. SHocking. Peña is really rebounding quite nicely after his first frame. Makes a sliding snare of a well hit ball up the middle. Nice play. 1-1 headed ot the bottom of the fourth.
  8. I mean both runners are Out he called safe. They were close, sure. BUT, in Minor League baseball especially where no tie goes to any runner in essence? They were out by a foot in that respect. The back-pick wasn't even remotely close. Absurdly bad missed call.
  9. That infield ump is an absolute disaster. Absolute unmitigated disaster.
  10. That's only Crowell's 6th HR allowed all season. Insane to see Peña do that.
  11. 406 feet over the RF wall. 10th of his season. 105 mph.
  12. Spain has tied it in Biloxi. Long ball well over the LF wall. Beautiful. 3-3 game.
  13. Y'all, I want to again remind me you of the absolute STAR we have in C Marco Dinges. Now that he's back and I get to watch him on the regular... Spencer has him at a 1.73 Pop time on the laser throw to 2B that Peña inconveniently couldn't catch off the heel of his glove. He moves unlike any catcher we have seen in the Brewers system in some time. Maybe ever. I'm not using hyperbole. He is an unreal level of athlete.
  14. Berroa just made a fantastic catch running down a very hard hit liner in the deepest alley of left CF to give an out to his new pitcher. Heck of a grab.
  15. Oh yay. Can't wait to watch. You have to love your team adding two atop their 2-0 lead and then you come aboard and put two runners on immediately with nobody out. Gross. 😂
  16. Matthew Wood breaks an 0-for-12 mini slump with a 103 mph line drive shot over the RF wall. It's 3-2 Shuckers pulled within one.
  17. You aren't going to believe this. Well, yes you are. RHP Chad Patrick just surrendered his third HR to Bobby Seymour. Yes, third. AND, fourth overall tonight. 5-4 Sounds. Goodness. He is getting absolutely torched these past two outings. It's brutal.
  18. Nice bounceback inning for Travis Smith. 1-2-3. Nice redemption fielding effort by Peña who calmlsy charges and collects a repeat short hop weakly hit chopper and fires accurately to 1B. Meanwhile, DeBerry was cruising. Until he gave up a lead-off nuke on a hanging off-speed pitch. Down the RF line. That ball was crushed. 3-1 Clingstones. I'm a bit over the hangers tonight, gents. LOL.
  19. Pratt gets the first Shuckers run on the board with a looping shallow liner into LF. Spain scores from 2B. He was running on contact. Two down. SHuckers trail 2-1. Burke will try to do some damage.
  20. Made is CS at 3B. I swear that was interference by that 3B. He fell over and into the base path. Made can't even get his hands to the bag. Needless to say, you are not going to get that call in the Minor Leagues. Nope.
  21. Made immediately answers with an oppo chopper up the 1B line on the first pitch. Man on 2B right off the bat.
  22. Well, Made also botched the transfer on an inning ending DP - but, honestly, you could argue Peña was slow to get the ball to 2B. LOL. It was poor form from both. LOL. But, yeah, botching the CS throw. Then that hiccup? At least he showed off the cannon. Heck of a throw across his body to get the runner at 3B. Weird sequence there.
  23. Back-to-back fielding gaffes by Made and Peña. Made can't get the DP throw out of his glove allowing the run to cross. Two outs. Dinges throws an absolute dart to 2B to grab the steal attempt and Peña botches the catch off the heel of his glove. Perfect throw. He had him. Peña then botches a routine weakly hit chopper. Runner gets aboard but the runner had advanced too far past 3B and Peña gets him with a cannon shot to the bag. LOL. Hokay then. T-Rats trail 1-0.
  24. 43 pitches through 3 IP for DeBerry. He keeps things calm since the early hiccups. He ends his third with a swinging K. Looking really dialed since the first. 2-0 Shuckers trail. Bats still asleep.
  25. A flare down the RF line results in a luck double. Diaz, playing 1B, chases down a grounder toward the middle of the infield. He throws inaccurately missing his pitcher covering the bag. Sigh. Runners on the corners for Travis Smith. One down. Ugly play.
