  1. Braylon Payne hit a 109 mph nuke. We should all take a moment to appreciate the shot and the Tin Caps glowing broadcast: Eric Bitonti also ripped his second tater. Yay! I continue to absolutely love his swing:
  2. Lara hitting 3 HR in 21 International Games is all sorts of amazing. This young man is very clearly something and then some!
  3. The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the following moves that impact the Nashville Sounds roster: ADD: RHP Coleman Crow optioned to Nashville from Milwaukee (#56) RHP Junior Fernandez reinstated from the Development List (#46) REMOVE: RHP Joe Corbett transferred from Nashville to Double-A Biloxi UTL Jheremy Vargas transferred from Nashville to Double-A Biloxi
  4. - INF/OF Tyler Black has been reinstated from the 7-Day IL by the Nashville Sounds - RHP Craig Yoho (remember him?) has been assigned to Nashville by the Brewers to begin a Rehab Assignment - C Andrick Nava was placed on the Development List (retroactive to 4/18)
  5. Was not anticipating a 6-1 Wild drubbing of Dallas at Dallas Game 1. Hard to imagine another game in this series that lopsided -Wild dominated in every facet throughout. Stars are a notoriously bad Game 1 team so I am not reading all that much into it. BUT, if Faber and Hughes play like they did G1 throughout the playoffs? And Boldy plays that motivated and willful? Wild are going to be a tough tough Out.
  6. Thank you for writing this, Jim. Garcia's evolution over the past year plus has been awesome to witness. He's truly grown up as a player before our eyes and become one of the most dependable utility players in the entire system. It seems like only yesterday when he was so clearly prone to the swing-and-miss at off-speed off the plate with little plate discipline and high K rates. It's a testament to his work and resolve - it's not all too long ago when he began the season in Low-A as a top 10 prospect! I am always amazed by players who fall out of prospect notoriety and recognition, become afterthoughts, and then reclaim their career paths. It is no easy feat.
  7. Love the current small samples we are seeing at the dish from a healthy Eduardo Garcia and, out of the Blue, a sudden renaissance for Darrien Miller. It appears Miller caught wind of 2025 Matt Wood and stole his thunder. Unfortunately they are a combined 2-for-40 CS 🙃
  8. I fondly look back to the week before the season began when the Brewers bullpen was widely considered a top three group in all of MLB. Hard to imagine us getting back there at the current regressive pace, but a man can certainly hope we do.
  9. I refer to Garrett as my 'Misfit Joy'. So much 'Huh?!' when I look under the hood but right now I'm just riding the cognitive dissonance into a smiley face.
  10. Thankfully, I have never been hit by a high riding four-seamer off my helmet but I feel like that would likely be my reaction as well? 😅
  11. The step we've been waiting for...but seen behind the curtain...is being taken. Triple-A batters are now a must to see how this new found control and impact fares with more mature and seasoned hitting approaches. Wonderful to see!
  12. Some unbelievably lopsided scores. I can't remember the last time we had two affiliates lose by such monstrous double digits. Yikes!
  13. I absolutely did not have 3 G, 6.0 IP, 0 H, 2 BB, 10 K, and 0 R as the start to One LHP Anferrny Reyes' season. To put this in perspective, this K output outperforms his strikeout totals in three of his FULL months of action last year at Carolina. Surreal start to his season. I see you, young man. 👀
  14. RHP Michael Fowler works around a free pass for the 6-5 T-Rats victory in Game 2. That's a double-header sweep. The young men improve to 7-3. Is the T-Rats line up better than the Brewers? (maybe not Blue font🤭) From Master Spence:
  15. Adamczewski just un-tied it. Kind of nice having him back.😅
  16. Josh returns with a 2-for-2, 1 R, 2 RBI and Solo Johnson to start things off. Payne, leading off, 1-for-1, 1 R, 1 RBI, 1 BB, and 2 SB. I do believe that'll play. The lads lead 6-0 top of 4. Woodward went 3.0 IP scoreless scattering a hit, 2 BB, with a punch out. He gave way to Mr. Low.
  17. I would think Holub profiles as the first selection. Murphy has already talked him up and he has legit 7th-thru-9th leverage stuff. He also seems to have found the elusive Control that had evaded him in year's past at Triple-A. He's seasoned and has Closer stuff. Fitz has been great but he's also another Lefty. I think he is third in Line here as a result. Burke really is just a very smart player overall. He has a lot more athleticism than people think. He's a heady base runner and a heady player overall so he uses that to his advantage to swipe bags, imho.
  18. Here I came lolly-gagging in, sipping coffee as rain pours and legs ache from yesterday's farm work, to post the Prince Fielder ceremonial first pitch...lo and behold, HOF Legend Jim Goulart has shared an Opus of highlights. Machine.
  19. It appears to be official after McCalvy's tweet-to-deleted tweet as Nashville issued a press release: - OF Greg Jones had his contract selected by the Milwaukee Brewers (the corresponding move to Vargas' promotion; Yeli's IL placement; and Zastryzny's IL status moved to 60-Day)
