  1. Nice to see @Spencer Michaelisand I have a new way of framing our 2 hours plus ML podcasts. "A quick 3 hour recap of the DSL and ACL summer." It rolls off the tongue!
  2. To Spencer and my Jesús Made SS raw upside hype beyond Pratt's high floor:
  3. Defense is definitely a work in progress. But, his defense at the hot corner (at least in the small 2025 sample we witnessed) is already much better than advertised.
  4. Baseball America must have watched Spencer and I discuss Andrew Fischer during our Timber Rattlers pod. Best 3B prospect in Minor League baseball? Well alright then!
  5. I don't deny any of what you say. I agree they have repeatedly choked under the brightest lights as a team under LaFleur. Do I think LaFleur has personally also failed enough in these big moments for the Packers to move on? Absolutely yes. I just don't think they care about this or see this remotely like we fans do and the team's leaders love Him. I also just don't care nearly as much about the packers as I did when I was younger. If they retain him I hope they do enough organizationally to change some of these repeated and consistent issues that have plagued them seemingly all seven years. Do I think they do? Not really. BUT, they are a business organization. The current formula is satiating their profit bottom line.
  6. I am emotionally uninvested in the outcome. I expect them to resign MLF and keep both he and Gute in the fold. Will I be upset? Not really. They have an organization they are running and surely have a much better pulse on what goes on within the hallowed walls. Surely the means by which the Packers have penny pinched with coaching hires needs to be reckoned with. I fully anticipate they will replace assistants - ST and OL at the front of that line. Surely they will look at underperforming players as well. The fact of the matter is: OL blocks in 2nd half it is a different story today. McManus doesn't have the worst game of his career surely this is a different story today. Reed and Watson manage to come up with ONE of those catchable balls surely it's a different story today. I don't know how much of any of that comes on the HC who seems to be universally respected across the League. The Packers seem to be a big convoluted mess of their own making. BUT, they also are making money every year hand over fist. I imagine they are quite aware of this and realize disrupting what is already a pretty successful football operation could jeopardize that - even if they continually find improbable ways to lose important games. They can keep telling themselves that can change and maybe it can.
  7. Well, technically, and not to be a stickler for exactitude...Jim did in fact 'SHOW YOU THE MONEYS!!'
  8. Man, the Packers really REALLY make me appreciate what we have with the Brewers. I know who the Brewers are. Watching the Packers blow meaningful games in the most improbably gut wrenching ways imaginable annually has become their organizational identity. I don't even know what they are anymore beyond this.
  9. A Packers tradition unlike any other. Botch a ST play. Go 3 and Out. Relinquish momentum.
  10. They add an Edge: They add a 4-Star TE (2027 Class):
  11. Very encouraging but not surprising, honestly. Spencer and I spoke to his readiness and pro ready approach in his limited time with the Mudcats post-draft. He could very easily be a fast riser on approach and preparedness alone - improved bat speed is a wonderful "Hold up." development.
  12. C Eric Haase finds a new home (for now):
  13. DL Charles Perkins is staying:
  14. Hold Up. Part deux:
  15. It would appear they got their Danny O'Neil insurance plan in place?
  16. Hold up. Hold up.
  17. Didn't see this One coming: (Let's be honest: I didn't see any of these coming. Just sharing these updates. 😅)
  18. Can confirm, Sir!
  19. Always nice to see Baseball America re-up their RHP Ethan Dorchies love:
