  1. Truly a special moment for the University of Wisconsin community. That volleyball program has been special for quite some time. Elated they got a 'Chip. Absolutely thrilled. Ecstatic for Retke. That girl is an unbelievable volleyball player.
  2. Thank You. That was unreal absurd. No validation for that...replay has to, in every sport, be definitive. They reached so hard for that...the ball never changed spin. Embarrassing. NOW, this being said: That resolve to come back and spike that crud home was a NO DOUBTER. Retke is a BALLER.
  3. OMG. WHAT a Finish! How they overturn that? And then that Spike? OH BABY!!!!! EDIT: I mean SERIOUSLY. Overturn that winning point? GTFO. No way. Absurd.
  4. This is about as 'Must Win' for a Women's volleyball program as it gets. There is the backstory of their HC taking the position and beating his former Badger Team in his first year as HC in Lincoln. This is as big a Finals showdown the program has ever had. A win here heals a lot of 'wounds' for the Program. Really really hoping they pull it out.
  5. Great effort. Lost by 4 in OT. Highly entertaining. Proud of the Guys.
  6. Bud went with the Flow of Regulation. With 2 TO's in the pocket, Bucks rebound the ball with 7.5 seconds left tied 103-103. Jrue takes it 1 vs 1 near court 3 point extended. Makes his move probably a fraction of a second too late. Rims in and out BUT it wouldn't have counted as he released it just just after the buzzer sounded. What a great game as a fan.
  7. These bench games lately have been highly entertaining. Grayson Allen just went on a heat check 12-0 personal run. 77-77 headed to the 4th.
  8. This is amazing. Thank you for sharing. I have been calling friends this past week pretending I am from Amazon's Fraud Department "We are reaching out to you in an attempt to reverse charges made on your account for recent purchases of an Apple Iphone..." This is simply an attempt to wake them up to how easy defrauding someone for money is. Thankfully, most of them caught on quickly. My best friend's wife was willing to download a Screensharing App. I was stunned. We had a serious talk.
  9. Bummer. Thanks for all the Updates while they lasted. Always appreciated!
  10. Where did you eat in Italy? I found Italian food incredibly rich and delicious...with dirt cheap local wines to boot. Daily, I'd venture to the Markets and grab cheese, fresh bread, produce...go grab a couple bottles of wine. LOL. I think I gained 15 pounds? I'm not a big wine guy, there was wine in abundance with all our meals and I drank it like everyone else but it's kind of wasted on me. I was with a church tour group so our guide would bring us to different restaurants most nights. They were family run places and they fed us well. I don't want to hate on them, the food was fine but I guess I had high expectations. I also don't like seafood in any form. We would typically get many courses with a dinner, so sometimes if there was something I really liked it was just a small portion and then the next course would be served. In these situations we really didn't order for ourselves, they'd just seat us and then start bringing us food. When we were left to find our own food for like lunches when out sightseeing we didn't have much luck with places we chose. We tried to find places with authentic food or sometimes it was just quick street food which was comparable to fast food quality. I don't want make it seem like everywhere we went was a letdown because it wasn't, but my general feeling was I expected a different experience. One day I literally went and had Chinese food because I wanted something different lol. Oh man, that's funny - the Chinese food. I think, perhaps an addendum is in order, I have a skewed perspective. When I went, I went to watch my brother-in-law play in the Lega Basket Serie A, so I was pretty much treated to the best restaurant recommendations each and every stay. Outside of the Markets, I just relied on others local and expert opinions. I'll never forget the night we were treated to a dinner by the clearly apparent Mob boss in Avelino (in the South of Italy - distinctively different cuisine than Tuscany or the Po region). It was one plate after the next just rapid succession. Everything came with fresh grated truffles. It was insanity. At the end, we paid a grand total of the equivalent of like $20USD. Never was it more apparent to me that it's all about who you know and that I was living in a very impermanent Bubble while he had a career. Ted Kennedy used to clandestinely fly into Tuscany and eat at Monteriggioni's 'Ill Pozzo'. I used to stay at a BnB just outside the city - a repurposed Convent. I ran into him one night while eating solo. Wild times.
  11. Holy what a Match?! How exciting is this? I reallllly reallllly hope they can pull this out baby.
  12. TJ Slaton come on down. For those of you who haven't seen Tyler Huntley play QB (Ravens back-up), you are in for a surprise. He is, currently, a better QB than Justin Fields imho. He doesn't have the Upside Fields has by any measure BUT he is a very dangerous threat. Sunday, will be just as tough to contain the pocket as last Sunday. He's more accurate than Fields today. Not an easy match-up whatsoever with Jackson unlikely to play.
  13. I watched the game last night and I agree with the great hustle. I thought their zone defense was particularly awesome. Everybody played their hearts out and it all came together in their run in the 4th quarter. Obviously, watching Giannis play night in and night out is an absolute privilege. To have the best player on the planet play for the Bucks is just an incredible luxury and gift I would never have imagined. In that regard, we are simply blessed as Bucks fans. BUT, I'm also a stickler for beautiful Team basketball. Last night, in my opinion, was the best all-around Team basketball the Bucks have played all year. They were sharing the ball with artfulness. The ball was moving. Guys were hitting the open shot. Guys who weren't, were doing all the other things. They took advantage of Indiana missing shots and went on a 21-0 run to seal the game in the pivotal 4th Qtr.
  14. Tough calls. I never place my trust in Tua - especially given that reality. I would place faith in Chubb - JRob and Jax are currently a quagmire. If you have that Flex available I'd stash Robinson there. Good luck!
  15. What kind of League are you in that accepts that trade? Goodness. If I proposed that trade in my League this season I'd be laughed at and scorned. I picked up Drake on waivers for a nice 2 week jaunt and back to the Waivers he went. lol. He proposed it to me. This was after I think Week 2 when it didn't appear that Conner had any real value and was playing second fiddle to Edmonds. Drake on the other hand had had two relatively strong performances. He also has Jacobs and wanted to make sure he had the handcuff. At the time it was proposed it did not appear imbalanced to the Conner side at all. Got it. Completely forgot about that early season reality...I was too busy watching every one of my High Draft Picks hit the IR. LOL.
  16. No Giannis. No Midds. No DDV debut. Cousins out for Personal Reasons. Still quite an entertaining game here mid-4th. Nice hustling. Jrue continuing to play controlled solid ball. Lotta ballgame left but happy I tuned in. EDIT to Add: I'm serious, this is the smoothest best Results Hustle I've seen in a couple weeks for the Buckaroos. Up 13 with 4:25 remaining. Good stuff. Nwora playing solid ball during the run. Grayson's shot isn't falling but he is making nice smart basketball plays. Love it.
  17. You're welcome. My set up was about as easy as it comes in crypto: Download Keplr wallet as Brave extension. Synch Ledger Nano X to both Keplr and Osmosis. Plug. And. Play. The only aspect of this set-up that is impacted is 'Ledger Live' - there is a wonky ongoing synch issue w/ Ledger Live and Keplr whereby Keplr overrides the Live Block Feed. BUT, it isn't a big deal whatsoever. I've actually preferred using Keplr's interface as I can choose which fee I want to use to 'Claim Rewards' or 'Stake'. On Ledger Live, the bonus is you can bypass a Claim and then a Stake by Compounding within the App. Anyhow, IF you do venture over to Osmosis, I'd recommend looking at the UST/OSMO hedge as a component of your LP. I am currently using UST/OSMO, ATOM/OSMO, and OSMO/SCRT (Still 75 Epochs of SCRT external incentive payouts). I really like the team at 'Secret Network' and feel as tho there will be a very recognizable need for layers of Smart Contract security and identity protection as CosmWasm evolves and the Eth Gravity Bridge takes shape. My $0.02. EDIT to Add: Just as a heads up, the Staking Rewards for OSMO arrive in 24/hr intervals (Mine arrive daily at 9:35-10am PST). It's not like ATOM whereby it is accruing as each Block matures and you see your payout by the minute. The LP pools are a shared reimbursement of all Swap and Bonding Fees on a per Pool basis and a 'Per Amount Invested' basis relative to these criteria. You can Vote on Propositions in the 'Governance' Icon of each entity via your Keplr Wallet OR it will Link direct via the Osmosis Lab Menu. IF that interests you.
  18. Cmon man, thin crust is where it's at! The divide in the 'Deep Dish' or 'Traditional Crust' vs 'Thin Crust' appears to mirror the divide in our Nation. As a thinner crust man myself, I will pray we find the common ground.
  19. I agree with you, the pizza in Italy is too simple and didn't impress me much either. It was ok, I don't want to say it was bad, just not what I was hoping for. As a whole, the food in Italy didn't impress me, pasta included. I fully recognize that it's because I'm used to Americanized Italian food but sadly the fact remains.
  20. I actually quite like that Top 10. Thanks for sharing! EDIT to Add: A little Teaser. The full Chat can be read here for those interested https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/milwaukee-brewers-2022-top-10-mlb-prospects-chat/ (No Sub needed for the read)
  21. I approve of this message.
  22. Depends which Vikings team shows up. That team is maddeningly inconsistent. As a Packer fan, I hope it's the team that lost to the lowly Lions that shows up in Lambeau in a few weeks. It is quite possible that the Vikings will no longer have anything to play for, and will simply be playing out the string by then. That would be a fantastic turn of events in our favor. They are maddeningly inconsistent. No doubt. They did just get Cook and Michael Pierce back. Their team still has quite a bit of talent at important positions. I like our odds at Home, obviously.
  23. IF you are into truly authentic Neopolitan style Italian pizza, apparently 'Pizzeria Lola' on 53rd ish and Xerxes is highly highly thought of. I just spoke with a couple peepariños back in the Twin Schmitties and they both swore by it. Again, more that authentic thin crust experience. It was featured, apparently, on 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives'. Has a cult following. I also see that Galactic is still there on Grand Ave and is rated in the Top 20 on Trip Advisor. I quite liked it back in the day, but I think the sauce hits or misses with folks. FWIW.
  24. TB has vsNO @CAR @NYJ vsCAR to close the season, so probably gonna need to win out to keep it. 538 has it at GB (45%) TB (39%) AZ (10%) for the first round bye after the Cardinals lost tonight, for whatever that is or isn't worth. Good grief that's a shamefully easy schedule for TB. LOL. NO has their number lately. Let us hope that is the ticket to the #1 seed. We have 2 extremely understated tough games @ BAL and home vs the Vikes. Here's hoping.
  25. I would think the best bet we have for a TB loss is this Sunday. I believe they are now 0-3 vs New Orleans dating back to last season? Let's hope we get the Taysom Hill and Kamara Run/Pass Option clinic to notch another W on NO's belt.
