  1. Everything I am seeing states he is still undecided. Where are you getting the final confirmed Report? If he goes to the Rams, so be it. If he comes to the Packers, great. But, I don't see an actual decision. EDIT: I see Schefter is leading the Rams news? Apologies, hadn't seen that.
  2. The early returns on the Grayson trade and signing are quite nice. If this keeps up, that will look like an absolute steal of a deal. Couple that with Pat vastly outplaying his contract and becoming one of the better role players in the League and I think it's fair to say the complaints and grumbles of either of these deals (whoever and wherever those may have been) were way off base. As always, gotta wait and see.
  3. Lost players that are picked up during a season do not count toward comp picks, fyi.
  4. At this point, given the weird direction this season has taken this past week or so...with the defense playing as well as it is...why not? I'm all popcorn if this does indeed happen. Does it? I think it depends on how much A-Rod wants him in town. If he does, I think it happens. In those same rumors discussing his preferred destination, another Packers writer surmises it would mean Amari Rogers is the odd man out. If that's the case, considering he clearly isn't ready for the Big Show, sign me up.
  5. I find it extremely hard to believe we will end up with Castellanos’ services. Paying as much as we do for Cain and Yelich, add the opt in of Bradley, it is simply going to be too cost prohibitive. He will probably seek a 3 yr 4th yr PO? I just don’t see it. The Crew seem to have the methodology of looking at guys coming off down years who have historically had decent seasons. I think guys like, say, Conforto would fit that bill? Maybe even kick the tires (DH-speaking here) on a Nelson Cruz.
  6. Good stuff.. Absolutely excellent stuff. He was left to the wolves. As I said earlier in the thread (and agreed with others): Love was far far from the issues that lost that game. Did he miss some throws? Absolutely. BUT, you have a rookie, on the road, in his first start you want as clean a sheet as you can have in the backfield. A-Rod masks so much with his GOAT play...how lucky are we? Thanks for the share. Very enjoyable to watch.
  7. Man, for a spell with Miguel Sanchez, I really thought we had a nice inning-eater akin to a diamond-in-the-rough. Now, I have no idea what we have. He's been fairly unimpressive for a couple months of play.
  8. Guessing it's a reference to LaFleur, given the translation of his last name. LOL, yes. Apologies. It's a nickname my Father and I coined for him at hire. Completely forgot this isn't common parlance. La Fleur translates in French, essentially, to flower. Hence, we jokingly called him 'Petals'. This was essentially after everyone began calling Gutekunst 'Gutey' - which we both found odd. Anywho, again, apologies. I may unconsciously do that from time-to-time. Apologies in advance.
  9. I actually ‘knew’ when I saw him come on in Dallas we had something special there. I have no idea w J Love yet. The arm talent is there. I worry about his decision-making process (something we also saw his Senior year), but, until I see him make more in-game NFL decisions I’ll completely reserve judgment. I make zero judgments off of yesterday’s game - as I said above I personally believe he was far from the reasons the Packers lost that game. Actually, he did enough to Win that game.
  10. I am going to agree with others here: Tho J Love certainly wasn’t awe-inspiring in his first Start, he was fine. I don’t know how you judge a Young man when his Interior Line just did not show up and his Head Coach somehow had no plan for Spag Blitz packages. Edit to Add: which brings me to Petals. For as fantastic a record and run of success our beloved HC has had, when he is Off it reallllllly impacts the game. His lack of commitment to the Run and his inability to get out of his own devised ruts has a propensity to be very problematic.
  11. Bad everything. Snaps and holds and One was Blocked so protection as well. The FG Unit, as a whole, has been hanging by a thread since Cincy. It's uncanny. And, before Cincy, there were the near blocks at SF.
  12. My word, I just watched that catastraphudge. My goodness. (1) Love looked like a young inexperienced QB on the road in a hostile environment. (2) THAT was your gameplan Petals? THAT?!? My word. How do you not commit to a run game HERE? How? (3) Ummmmm, Interior OL play was wowza. (4) Amari Rogers on ST is, um, something (5) So, you want to swap Long Snappers mid-season... (6) Mo Drayton seems like a really awesome Dude. But, holy heck, his units stink outside the Leg of Bojorquez. (7) Speaking of Bojorquez, I notice he is a bit incapable of spinning laces out. That's 2 kicks in 2-3 weeks where he just puts the ball down clearly laces in. That's no bueno. How disappointing to be facing an Inferior opponent and showing up with that gameplan and execution when your D (with even more key injuries) just stepped the F up. Ugh.
  13. Badgers have quietly won 5 straight? And are suddenly in contention for their Division? That’s pretty cool. Their young RB seems a stud. Nice to see them make something of their early woes.
  14. Yeah and he believes taking a animal de-wormer will prevent a viral respiratory infection. That tells you all he knows about immunology. He should just keep his mouth shut about science he has absolutely no knowledge about. That would be like me lecturing Jeff Bezos how to create enormous wealth. Ivermectin is used in De-worming applications - primarily in equines. AND, you know what else you find in animal wellness sections: Aspirin. True. Actually, animal aspirin is not only pure salicylic acid but it is additive and filler free as well. Both of these medicines are used for a wealth of different applications. There is a reason why Ivermectin has been a celebrated drug (as aspirin) for quite some time and there are reasons both are readily available. This is an important distinction.
  15. There aren't many better scenarios to see what we are really working with in our young QB2. Got the popcorn ready. This is a HUGE night for Love.
  16. Every time I lament the Graham Mertz experience, I remind myself the Tanner Morgan experience isn't all that great either. LOL. Gotta take the small victories!
  17. I think at least part of that reason was having a perennial MVP candidate penciled in at first base for the foreseeable future. I would obviously be ecstatic by a Matt Olson-type upgrade (and would include Tellez in a heartbeat), but I’m not so sure about writing off Rowdy either. He’ll turn just 27 next March, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is an above average offensive player over the next couple of seasons. Agreed. I will say, as well, it certainly is very nice having the floor of Tellez at 1B as opposed to, say, Vogey or Hiura. It is an upgrade. Is it an upgrade that will maintain or continue to, well, upgrade? OR, was it a flash in the pan? We shall see, I guess. BUT, I value Tellez as the baseline quite a bit considering where we've been.
  18. Agreed. I now tend to almost instantly go: (1) Angels or Mariners (2) Big Market It's almost like, in my mind, those are the only two avenues.
  19. I’m worried J’Love’s performance might make me go limp (can I say that?) But, sterile? Nah. But, also, I’m at the age where I’ve had my kiddos and if that be the case? Oh well. Sigh.
  20. Very fair. And very eloquent response. I appreciate this effort immensely. Tip of the cap. Cheers of the glass. Much respect. Oh man, pulling up the photos?!? Good grief. LOL. I have STORIES, my friend. Some truly hard to believe but very true. Maybe some time I’ll tell you of the experience getting a guinea pig ‘radiograph’ by a Quechuan Medicine woman that 100% confirmed what the X-Ray back in the states showed. It left me stupefied for months. LOL.
  21. I think it is extremely hard to know what A-ARod’s individual case entails. For instance, I learned during my lengthy medical experience(s) my body somehow can not handle Indomethacin (it provokes a wild set of itchiness and, oddly, stinkiness LOL) and it can’t even handle the basic Prednisone. Which sucks. Try systemic Poison Ivy with no Prednisone capacity. It is excruciatingly hard. My point is, why does it have to be misleading if he has a panel of personal Medical people helping him make the decision?
  22. Regardless of what a person feels about some of the opinions and nuance of the McAfee discussion (which he clearly had prepared for with notes he was consulting) I still feel like the overarching points A Rod made were legitimate and should be highlighted: (1) Healthy lifestyles above everything (2) A conversation not a critique (3) Body autonomy So that is my offering based on A-Rod’s discourse. And my experience and opinions below IF you so care to read it.
  23. With key players out, this is a Bad Bucks team. They're playing way too many 15th men on the floor. Will be nice to see some quality talent return at some point.
  24. Why was my involvement in the ongoing A-Rod vax discussion deleted? Hard to understand. I was merely supporting aspects of what he said.
  25. Really interested to see what type of game plan Petals comes up with with J-Love making his first start. Will they trust the run game more? Will it be a bunch of quick release 3-step drop? Really anxious (in every facet of the word) to see how Love performs under the big lights.
