  1. All good. I only do because I was legitimately shocked at what I was witnessing - in the best way possible. Absolutely stoked for him.
  2. Ryan Birchard's walk rate is brutal - 6.62/9 IP. Kuehner's walk rate is not ideal - 4.69/9 IP. In 2023, for example, the Southern League average BB/9 was actually 4.70.
  3. He hit 3 HR in his first 24 AB at Biloxi. If that's taking a bit to adjust, I can't wait to see what a quick adjustment looks like. Equally as impressive as his consistent production at Biloxi at the dish has been his sudden other-wordly ability to throw runners out attempting to steal. We are legitimately watching a different player than we saw at both Carolina and Wisconsin and I am absolutely here for it.
  4. Really nice to see Yophery bounce back with a big July - 10 game hitting streak. Hitting 0.361 with a 1.034 on the month over 36 AB. The transition has not been smooth for Rodriguez as his season-long numbers quite easily indicate but it's nice to see such a quality young man experiencing high-end success once again. RHP John Holobetz has pitched 52.0 innings for the same High-A Greenville Drive (as Rodriguez). The 22-year-old is giving up a 0.268 BAA but has struck out 54 while walking a mere 8. Whip is healthy at 1.21 with a 3.29 ERA over his 10 appearances (9 Starts). The Sox took RHP Marcus Phillips (Tennessee) with the 33rd Comp A pick the Brewers also sent. WIth Priester pitching the way he has, with the improvements we have consistently seen, I think in retrospect we all have to be extremely happy with this trade. I, for one, acknowledge my early opinions aged like curdled milk. I will happily eat my crow.
  5. I voted for the first time in some time. Our 20-through-30 will very easily outperform the 1-through-20 several weeks (if not more) over the course of a season. Also: We have to start putting INF Filippo Di Turi down as a voting option. He is perhaps the most slept on prospect in our entire system. He put all his Full-Season transition questions to bed for me and then some in 2025. He's quite easily become one of my favorite players in the system. Seemingly always available and can defend quite well throughout the left side of the infield - really coming on at 3B, for example. Developing power. Disciplined. Switch hitting bat. He's had a really tough July after cooling off in June but what he's done for me in 2025 is entrenched belief. I believe in the quality of player. I'm not letting this cold spell color my thinking. This is different than 2024.
  6. He's a 'sophomore' now! Saw action in 11 games as a 'Freshman' - caught 2 passes for 29 yards and even recovered an onside kick. Earned a place on the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll. We expect even bigger and better things for Harrison in 2025/2026. He'll turn 30 in August.
  7. Oh right! We also have a LHP Robert Gasser beginning his rehab. The current embarrassment of riches amongst the starting ranks is a beautiful thing. Let's hope he hits the rehab ground running with little to no setbacks and he can build up that tantalizing arsenal.
  8. You have to begrudgingly love how difficult these Top 20 Votes are getting. This is an absurdly solid Top 20 at present. This vote is brutal.
  9. What is Priester's FIP after tonight? Absolutely incredible to see him knock his ERA down to 3:33 in such dominant fashion.
  10. Even harder to believe: they now have the fourth lowest Runs Against in the entire League. Wait. Who did we play for the season opening series? Also, that Ortiz play to end it? Goodness gracious.
  11. Sometimes a Sac Fly should be awarded to the runner. Pratt gets the SF here. He owes Garrett Spain a six pack. My goodness what a play!
  12. Yeah. Max 92.0 mph. Avg 89.2 mph on 41 total heaters? Not ideal
  13. Either Areinamo gets dealt or he gets the long-deserved promotion. It is past time. 3-for-4, 1 R, 2 RBI. 10th HR. He is done in High-A. Give him his next challenge.
  14. The Matt Wood 2025 Double-A Renaissance Era will be studied in youth baseball camps across the nation for years.
  15. The 2026 Nashville statue reveal will have a cult like buzz on the interwebs.
  16. RHP Corbin Martin (2024 Sounds - Claimed by Brewers in April; Optioned to Sounds; DFA'd; claimed by Orioles) stayed with the Orioles into 2025. He appeared in 1 Game this season. He was DFA'd 7/13 and elected Free Agency. He just signed a new Major League contract with the same Orioles.
  17. The most important angle concerning Adamczewski's long awaited return (5/2 😭): He had a smooth return to the field with very few speedbumps. He felt good. Body maintained its health - ie recovery processes were encouraging. He makes it back actually healthy. Let's send out those positive vibrations so that he may experience continued health through the remainder of the season. Let's GO!
  18. It appears the Brewers have taken more steps to shore up their Catching depth with C Marco Dinges shelved for an unknown period of time and the unknown readiness and/or signability of their two drafted catchers in Brendan Brock and Rylan Mills. The Milwaukee Brewers have acquired C Andrick Nava from the Philadelphia Phillies for cash considerations. He has been assigned to the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
  19. From the Minor League Transactions thread and via our own @ARobsBrewCrew HERE
  20. In Jim's recent article. This is all we really know:
  21. More roster shuffling via IL designations in the post 2025 MLB Draft Brewers World: RHP Jack Polancic was officially placed on the Full-Season IL by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers RHP Aidan Maldonado was moved from the 7-Day IL to the 60-Day IL * Note: Just a reminder that all 60-Day IL, Full-Season IL, and Restricted List players do not qualify against the stateside 165 roster Limit
  22. It appears as though someone is freelancing as a detective. Nice find!
