  1. Well, MLB was calling him 'Jon Adams' all spring as his given name is Jon Luke Adams. It was really strange tho when I first saw it. He is very much a Luke imho.
  2. What to expect? I expect a man to show up in that clubhouse. A grown man. A man's man. A family man. A man who shows up to mow your lawn when your mower is down and out. A man who shows up with a cup of sugar when you've run out. A man who knows your strengths and weaknesses and he plays to your strengths. Hopefully, he also works fast on the bump...even when he's getting torched.
  3. Another way to look at it is this gives them the guy they targeted after ST while also sending KC to a great org where he will have ample opportunity to build on a solid start to his career.
  4. At this point, I have resigned myself to the Bucks selecting the Mexican draft entrant, Karim Lopez, because that is the most John Horts Bucks maneuver there is. "Hey we had amazing success with a different Kareem,, we thought why not strike gold twice! Si se puede." When I saw the Bucks down 44 to the Clippers with BroLo outplaying Myles Turner (shocker), I could only smile. I knew Doc could give us another inspired post-game rationale in this historically terrible season.
  5. C Brett Sullivan Has earned another 40-Man opportunity. He capitalizes on his non-roster Rockies invite and makes the opening day roster: Full MLB Link HERE. Sullivan will leave the Albuquerque Isotopes clubhouse behind him, for now, where former Brewers RHP TJ Shook and OF Drew Avans will look to keep his locker tidied and clean should he return.
  6. 1 charged Error, I believe (unless there was another after Burke failed to corral the friendly hop)? Made's rushed throwing was an issue last season - his footwork and rushing things were consistent issues. There is certainly work to be done there. Unpolished, yes. But, man he is so athletic and rangy with, generally, great hands. If Pratt simply claims the starting SS role tho, which imho is still to be determined but he's shown incredibly well this spring, there is nothing wrong with an uber athletic hyper talented 2B who backs up at SS. Lotta ballgame left. AND, let's remember: 18 years old.
  7. Excellent share. Bitonti has definitely calmed his pre-swing noise from 2025. I love where his swing is at entering this season after fighting timing seemingly all last season. His current swing honestly looks like a longer Fischer stroke which is a massive compliment. Dorchies is definitely a Hoss. Wichrowski continues to lack polish, yes, and the same movement and release issues that have plagued him are still, well, plaguing him. Until he tweaks that he will seem to remain a toolsy tease.
  8. Man the ball is carrying ridiculously. Routine flies to the warning track and wall. Nice to see Adamczewski make a leaping snare at that same wall on what appeared to be a routine fly short of the warning track at first contact. Also, man, the A's have something filthy in RHP Kade Morris.
  9. Someone is clearly in mid-season form. And, no, I am not talking about any players here. Great synopsis, Daniel! Many thanks!
  10. Ahhh, yes. It's our annual month to opening day lead-up trickle in of devastating injury news. May these young men heal up and tap into more resolve to come back stronger and more mentally tough. Brutal. Every season I nervously enter the month of March. Man. I just feel for the players and their families.
  11. Updated Coaching designations posted today. Sure looks like we are shifting back to a 3-4 Base: I know nothing about this hire but from afar it would pique my curiosity as 'interesting'?
  12. There are fewer things more on brand in sports than a Wisconsin based sports team choking away their opportunity. For all you lifer Bucky fans, I'm sorry for your loss today. I'm sure it stings. Sadly, we've all been there one too many times in the past 25-30 years.
  13. Not expressly Minor League spring training related but likely deserving of recognition.
  14. I know what you are saying here and I generally agree but also: it's March Madness and that can essentially happen to anyone. It is such a spectacle.
  15. I think we can pretend it's both - for morale!
  16. March Madness is nearly always dictated by the quality of a team's back court. You'd be hard pressed to find a back court duo playing more impactful basketball at just the right time than Bucky's Boyd and Blackwell. My goodness, have a tourney.
  17. Hey, they won the game and advance. Key Big is down and out for the foreseeable future but trending well. Take the 'W' regardless of the warts. Doesn't matter how you win in post-season play. Just win. Today's goal was accomplished despite its flaws.
  18. - C Jacob Nottingham has re-upped with the Mariners on a Minor League deal - Some tough news for RHP Robert Stock
  19. What a week for Men's hockey n BBall at Buckeyville! Incredible stuff..
  20. Huge results for Bucky tonight. 7-3 W at PSU and ND took OSU to OT. Automatic Quarterfinal Home ice. Gotta love it!
  21. Indeed. I am daily in a state of disbelief this organization is paying Doc Rivers top 10 HC money. To have the amount of money these owners have to simply throw it in the trash is a certain type of elite privilege, I guess. Whatevs. Directionless rudderless ship. Bucks led the Hawks by 6 at the half. Bucks led the Bulls by 16 in the 3rd quarter. The Doctor is cooking. Top 5 NBA victories proving once again if you do anything long enough some form of recognition comes your way.
  22. Most recent news was concerning:
  23. Spencer and Jack chimed in quite favorably on Sproat's outing:
