  1. Welcome to Brewer Fanatic! In the case of Yoho (and perhaps Misiorowski), I think the Brewers are waiting until September 1st when rosters expand and they can add one more pitcher.
  2. Okay, I love this item. It’s obviously real. Put it on eBay with a $200 reserve. I think it’s worth at least that much. If your reserve isn’t met, I’ll buy it from you for $250 and use it in our site’s yearly awards to users.
  3. I'm not sure a one-year extension would interest Rea at this point. He's having a breakout season and next year is his age-34 season. If he wants a larger payday, 2026 is his one shot at it. I'd also trade Williams, though I think many fans will be disappointed with the return. But given the volatility of relievers, I'm an advocate for trading almost every good one you develop.
  4. Oh, I know why Fisher does it. Baseball would be better if owners agreed (and they'll never do this) that before a team is moved, it must be sold. Because if a team must be moved out of its home city, that should be considered a massive failure on the part of ownership. It also prevents the John Fishers of the world from exploiting another city and reaping the rewards for doing so.
  5. Fisher should sell the team while stock is high. Also, Fisher should sell the team because he's awful.
  6. First, welcome to the site! I'm not much of an autograph person but others here should know more than me. You might want to get it authenticated, that 1980 team had some outstanding players, several of which were still around in 1982. Given what little I know about autographs, having it authenticated should increase the value considerably.
  7. After long and hard consideration, I've decided I'm against walking in runs.
  8. The only thing that makes sense to uphold the safe call is that the defender can't knock the runner off the bag.
  9. Thank you, that was 100% my fault. I must have been working on multiple players at the same time and accidentally pasted a Twins player's stats in for Braggs.
  10. That was an ugly one. I turned off the game after Williams walked in the tying run and decided it was better if I just read a book instead. Oh well, every team loses ugly a few times a season.
  11. A crisp, clean series and the Cardinals are so far in the rearview the Brewers don't have to pay attention to them again until 2025.
  12. Yeah, I wasn't including the tiebreaker, though obviously it matters.
  13. Aren’t the Brewers just half a game out of a bye?
  14. Now would be a great time for Peralta to revert to form. Also, can't watch any of these games because I'm at the cabin and MLB's awesome blackout rules apply. Sigh.
  15. If the Brewers want to go ahead and sweep the Guardians, that would make me happy for several reasons.
