  1. To be fair, I had convinced myself the Twins were going to dumb luck their way into a walk-off after that 50mph Margot “double”.
  2. You’re just a ray of sunshine aren’t you
  3. I’m starting to become legit concerned about the Brewers offense. If Turang and Contreras don’t turn it around soon, the top of their lineup that looked fierce two months ago now looks below average.
  4. The Twins have had literally the best offense in baseball since May. The Brewers pitching has done very well for itself tonight.
  5. Yikes. I thought that Kepler ball was game over.
  6. It wasn’t a bad throw, though. It could have been better but it wasn’t bad.
  7. The Twins LOVE the contact play and it works pretty often.
  8. Yep. Milwaukee’s defense let the Twins back into this one.
  9. That was Willi Castro but yes, he’s very fast.
  10. I don’t cheer for either, mostly, unless one team REALLY needs a win. But in this situation, I just want to see good baseball.
  11. Twins battered infield really helping the Brewers here. They’re pinch-hitting Diego Castillo because Miranda, Lewis, and Correa are injured.
  12. Yikes. Martin really got into that one.
  13. I don’t hate a bunt in that situation. I wouldn’t have called for it but I don’t hate it, either.
  14. I keep thinking he’s going to pull out of it and… he doesn’t.
  15. When he’s on, he’s stellar. He’s just a lot like Peralta this year, he blows up too frequently.
  16. Lopez has been a mystery this year. He was elite last year and his underlying numbers aren’t much different; he’s just getting shelled every third start or so.
  17. LOL, I'm listening to the Twins broadcast so I didn't hear that but yes, hard to call that 2-2 pitch anything but a strike.
  18. Like most city connects, I think they're pretty meh. I like that they actually put thought and effort into the design, I'll give them credit for that. Little Minnesota touches all over the jerseys. But I hate that they essentially made them Brewers colors. Just no reason to take that route, replace the yellow with orange and it's an entirely different look.
  19. The Twins should not wear their city connects while playing the Brewers.
  20. Both, I think. Ricketts won’t allow Hoyer to spend where the Cubs should be spending and Hoyer is very conservative about how he hands out that money.
  21. Jed Hoyer is conservative to a fault. He needs to take bigger risks, he has the ability to play in deeper water than he does.
