  1. But who is the last guy to be a top-3 or top-5 prospect? Braun didn't get there, even Fielder never got there. Chourio is on a level the Brewers haven't seen in a long time. Sheffield, maybe? Weeks might have been that high, I can't recall.
  2. An early one today as the Brewers try for the split against the Pirates.
  3. Just try to get a win at this point and move on to the next series...
  4. Can't win 'em all. Gonna be a tough stretch with a bunch of TBDs; hard to figure why Murphy pulled Ross after fewer than 80 pitches last night.
  5. Thank you! The forums are quite old - a little over 20 years - but the site in its current incarnation is just a little over two years old now. We're really excited for this season, as it's the first where I really feel comfortable about where we stand on things.
  6. Welcome to Brewer Fanatic!
  7. The Pirates are 11-11... and in fourth place in the NL Central. Huh.
  8. Good point, I'll reach out to the person who maintains these and find out what the deal is. He works M-F so I might have to step in on weekends.
  9. I finally added this to the site. Internally, we track reliever usage over the past five days so we have reference for who pitched and when. I decided it should be on the site as well. You'll find a link for this at the top of the forum index in the resources list of links. https://brewerfanatic.com/milwaukee-brewers-bullpen-usage/
  10. Potentially a tough matchup for the Crew today. Gray has pitched well but against some bad teams.
  11. Last night wasn't pretty but it was a win. Let's do it again.
  12. Well, here we go. Let's bury the Cards. In what should be a surprise to absolutely no one, Kyle Gibson has been very bad for the Cardinals. Let's keep the trend moving in the right direction.
  13. This is worthy of its own thread. Thanks to @wiguy94 for bringing it to my attention.
  14. Weird, they usually let me know when they release bobbles for the Twins, Brewers, or Cubs and I'm surprised I missed a Jackson-freaking-Chourio bobble.
  15. I struggle seeing Ortiz ever being a two hitter. In today's game, that should be your best overall hitter. Given the number of hitters the Brewers have with similar profiles to Ortiz, it's a big win if he hits league or better and hits in the 6-7 spots in the lineup.
  16. By the way, we're posting these updates every day on Facebook so you should give us a like over there. https://www.facebook.com/BrewerFanatic But ******* yikes, look at these numbers.
  17. FOCO is a partner with Brewer Fanatic and support of their products helps support this site; 100% of the funds/materials received from these promotions go directly to our users in the form of prizes and gifts. We are all excited to finally have baseball back after a long awaited 6 months of reminiscing what most would call a successful finish to the 2023 season for the Brew Crew! What’s even more exciting and has Brewers fans excited to jump out of their seats at American Family Insurance Stadium this season is the long-awaited call to the pros for young rookie phenom outfielder and baseball’s #6 overall prospect, Jackson Chourio. After signing with Milwaukee Brewers as an up and coming international free agent prospect with a 2 million dollar signing bonus out of Venezuela, the highly sought-after prospect has shot through the rankings in just 3 minor league seasons in the Milwaukee Brewers farm system and truly impressed in this year’s spring training forcing general manager Matt Arnold’s hand to make him a big leaguer in 2024 and so far he has impressed. As excited as we are about Jackson’s potential with the Brewers, we want to make sure you guys are cheering him on bobblehead style with a brand new good-luck charm from FOCO. This morning, our friends at FOCO have just released their very own Jackson Chourio Milwaukee Brewers Rookie Bobblehead. This bobblehead portrays Jackson in his home white Brewers uniform in action pose with his helmet on as he looks like he is running the bases to score a run for your beloved Brew Crew. Jackson is standing on a bright yellow and dark blue base with a “Welcome To The Show” plaque in the backdrop of the collectible letting every Brew Crew fan know that Jackson Chourio has officially arrived to the big leagues! His name and jersey number in the shape of a baseball along with his team’s name is displayed on the front decal of the bobblehead. Make sure to grab your limited-edition Jackson Chourio Milwaukee Brewers Rookie Bobblehead now by clicking on any of the links in this article before they run out. FOCO has only made 96 of these bad boys standing proudly at 8 inches tall and going for a retail price of $70 available for preorder now! 18. Everyone has said their piece, it's time to move on now.
  19. Well, the Brewers lost a series. It was bound to happen. Now it's time to get a win and avoid the sweep.
  20. I was really hoping turbo was going to give me a dislike reaction to that post. :D :D :D
