  1. I only have Spectrum experience, but have you considered T-Mobile Home Internet? I am testing out a 5G connection and it has almost always been 250-270Mbps compared to a Spectrum cap of 200. It's $50 per month if you have a T-mobile phone with no commitment (you just need to send back the Router/modem if you cancel otherwise you buy bought it). The other advantage is that Spectrum upload speeds are usually capped at 10M and I have had issues pushing data up my line (in case you need to do it as part of work). With T-Mobile I get 40-50M when speed testing for uploads. I have had it for 2 months and I haven't had a single outage. If you need to use it for work, the other consideration is that it does seem to be "faster" than Spectrum (I have some EU customers and I vpn to them and can get 50-60M transfers when I was never more than 12M (using the same VPN with Spectrum) for download.
  2. I'd love to see the NFL suspend him for the last game of 2022 and the playoffs and a significant part of 2023 to give the finger to the Haslams and Watson for their negotiated $1M 2022 base salary.
  3. I think Patches O' Houlihan said it best. This team and baseball, in general, is just a futility parade with most hitters making out greater than 70% of the time. With the increase in K% and the cratering of BA does anyone in the commissioners office think that this is an interesting product? This team has a $130M payroll and the product is just crap. I don't care that they're in first place in a division filled with abysmal teams. So they're the champions of the *******? Yeah that's a real rallying point.
  4. From the Fangraphs article: and: Playoff odds Brewers = 75.4% Cardinals = 66..8% WS WIN % Brewers = 3.7% Cardinals = 4.4% Even ZIPS knows the Brewers can't do squat in the playoffs.
  5. Last year the Brewers were 19-9 when Burnes started. This year they are 10-7. While he hasn't been as dominant as last year, in many ways he has been pitching close to his 2021 performance. That's just not acceptable offensive performance when you are getting near Cy Young pitching from your starter and you are only 10-7. Today is a prime example of the horrible offense this team trots out day after day. Burnes pitching beautifully, but an offense that can't muster much against a group of average to below average pitchers. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll straighten things out just like they straightened out their September offense last year with an offensive explosion against the Braves in October.
  6. Well they could go BIG and shoot for 28 (4 divisions of 7 teams). The link from Lucroy above discussed NC and Duke as possibilities for the B1G (mostly for their BBall, not their Football), which I like. How about the following: East Duke Maryland Miami North Carolina Penn State Rutgers UVA Central Indiana Michigan MSU Northwestern Notre Dame OSU Purdue Midwest Colorado Illinois Iowa Minnesota Nebraska Wisconsin Utah West Arizona CAL Oregon Stanford UCLA USC Washington
  7. Too bad it's on the road because I hear CC think's he's the best car detailer they've ever had.
  8. I heard the exit velocity of the lineup submission was their best of the year and they still lost. Go figure.
  9. Kelley being recalled is far worse than any injury Houser has/could have.
  10. If this is only a football consideration I can see ND and maybe 2-3 other West Coast teams. Seems Stanford and Berkeley would be considered for their bay area market interest. If other sports drive any decisions, then Stanford is a slam dunk recruit as they are strong in a whole host of non-big (basketball/football) sports. Stanford is # 1 and Cal is #10 in overall NCAA championships. If they aren't at least discussed as part of the process then it's entirely a football $ discussion.
  11. I'm not sure it's clear exactly what happened. Close and Excel Sports have flatly denied Gottlieb's take, which could likely just be damage control. It appears that Close is trying to split hairs that the offer wasn't "firm" and wasn't treated the same way as a firm offer would be. Freddy wanted to stay with the Braves and it, looks like they may have had numbers he would have accepted, but Casey Close didn't clearly represent the situation for whatever reason. The fact that Freeman fired Close and is still not committal on his relationship with Excel Sports indicates a clearly unhappy client that thinks his interests weren't the primary focus of his agent. Surprise, Surprise.
  12. Imagine if there weren't any AAA, AA, A leagues and all minor league teams played at the same "level". Of course there would be massive differences in quality and ability of teams to "compete". College football was just that. A fake playing field that any "University" could compete with another, which is simply a long con. Time to realign and create a structure that is relevant to the reality that so many university and colleges have no business wasting money trying to compete.
  13. Who knows, but maybe some of Yelich's struggles are because he can't see the pitch tipoffs anymore!
  14. I don't get it. Of any sport, baseball relies so much on eye/hand coordination. With the hundreds of millions they spend on player payroll you would think teams would have them seeing optometrists 1/2 times a year just to make sure their eyesight is as close to perfect as possible.
  15. I was going to post (before the first 2 runners reached base) that 4 runs should be more than enough for Burnes and the bullpen given how dominate Corbin looks. Of course, if I jinx(ed) him I would take responsibility and the cyber punishment it entails.
  16. Brock, can I recommend a "Junior" forum to add where those who are children or act like children are free to post, while the rest of the forums are for adults.
  17. Might be. Never seen anything like it before. It was about 3 times the size of a squirrel.
  18. Are there Beavers in metro Milwaukee? I just chased something that looked like a Beaver, but without the big fat tail, off my deck.
  19. I'm talking about things likely to happen in my lifetime. If you want to talk infinity and beyond then sure.
