  1. Sure...Hall caps a 4-4 night with a nifty pitch to start the game ending DP. Nice!
  2. You know how I can tell Cappy is pitching? The Brewers are leading 11-0 in the seventh. Think the other pitchers are jealous of the kind of support this guy gets from the hitters? I think, maybe, just a little.
  3. Jenk's back is hurting from carrying the team?
  4. A split would be great in HOU. It would also close out a winning road trip and reverse the nasty slide from last week as they head home for two weeks. I would definitely take the split.
  5. A shutout at Coors? You gotta be kidding me! Great work by Cappy tonight, both on the mound and with the stick. An important win to stop the bleeding from last week and get a hint of momentum heading into HOU. All of a sudden the Brewers have won three of four.
  6. Good call. A little heavier as I recall the Bird, but I see you working.
  7. If they can win tomorrow and split in HOU, they will stop the bleeding and, hopefully, get things back on track. That's a lot of ifs, I know, but I think that's what needs to happen. They have Jamie Wright tomorrow. I hope they can handle that guy. But with this team you never know.
  8. Redemption for Rickie...a victory for the Brewers!
  9. The error is looking bigger all the time.
  10. What was even worse about that error was that it seemed like they might have been able to get the DP.
  11. Rickie seems to have a tendency to make errors at exactly the wrong moment.
  12. And tonight will be no exception.
  13. Not a good start to the bottom of the ninth...
  14. My perception is that their bullpen is pretty ragged right now, so every inning they can get out of their starters is key. That's why I was OK with keeping Vic in. He looked like he could get at least another inning, saving a little more wear and tear on the pen.
  15. I thought Hart looked quite smooth going back on the line drive in the bottom of the eighth. So far, so good.
  16. I'm not all that comfortable with DT at Coors, either. But what are they going to do? He's the closer and it is a save situation. I guess a couple more runs here wouldn't hurt.
  17. Hart went back nicely on that one.
  18. It's nice that JDLR hit 96 on the gun, but I would have settled for pounding the strike zone. Dude has got to develop better control.
  19. An excellent point. However, let's see if she's still wearing it on their 10th anniversary. Then we know it is a match made in Heaven.
