  1. If they go that way they better have an insurance policy in place to take them off the hook if/when he gets hurt. A commitment of that size could cripple them if he should get hurt early in the deal. They can't afford that kind of situation (Teddy Higuera revisited).
  2. I detect a touch of panic in some of these posts. It's almost like some of you guys can't taste your beer.
  3. Could it be worse? Well, their starting catcher could get hit on the hand with a pitch, potentially sidelining him and leaving MKE with Moeller and 41 year old Pat Borders behind the plate. You mean like that?
  4. Way to play the "polite card", tnweill. Slick strategy.
  5. I can't figure out JDLR. When I saw him at Maryvale two weeks ago, he was filthy -- he looked like he had figured it out and would be a dependable arm out of the pen. Then there is today... Not much of a confidence inspiring performance.
  6. Another error? I know it is spring, but we're on the cusp of the sesaon. They need to tighten that up, particularly starters like Overbay.
  7. They gave up 21 hits today? I know it's spring training, but sheesh! Well, at least it's not like the season starts in a week or anything...
  8. Another hit for Krenzel? Someone approach him with a plastic cup and a microscope. Now we know why Brady is feeling dizzy.
  9. This would be VS's third bad outing of the Spring, right? Is this going to nudge him out of the rotation, or just further shorten his leash? I'd like to see both Obie and Glover in the rotation and Victor, ah, somewhere else.
  10. Whoever called Ben pitching the three of the first nine games seems to have nailed it. Even got the dates right. Props.
  11. I don't think it was based on cleverness in my case. I think I just asked a question during a down segment of the game and he was grateful to have something to talk about.
  12. Yeah, they are serious. And they hooked me. Actually, I have really enjoyed it this spring. And it will come in handy for day games during the regular season. I thought about long and hard, but now I'm glad I plunked down my $15. A nice side benefit: I submitted a question to Daron Sutton last week while listening to the web cast and he selected it as the winner of that day's ticket give-away. I got a certificate for four Club Level tickets for any game this coming season (well, save for the NYY and Cubs). So that $15 was well-spent.
